„about united“ stärkt die leisen und lauten Formen des Widerstands gegen rassistische Abschottungsdiskurse und ihre tödlichen Praxen: Auf Lesbos unterstützt eine LGBTI+- Gruppe queere Flüchtende, selbstorganisierte Migrant*innengruppen in Deutschland leisten Support in den Lagern und verteidigen die Arbeits- und Menschenrechte unabhängig vom Aufenthaltsstatus, andere Unterstützer*innen organisieren Gesundheitsversorgung für Menschen ohne Papiere. Was uns verbindet, ist der Kampf um das gleiche Recht auf Rechte: Hier, in Europa und überall auf der Welt.
Eine Plakatkampagne mit politischen Forderungen der unterstützten Aktivist*innen umrahmt die Party und gibt ihr einen öffentlichen Ausdruck. Den Abend eröffnet Bahati und Haszcara mit einem female HipHop Konzert. Der Flow bringt uns dann in die Lobby die ihre Premiere als HipHop-Floor feiert. Im Zelt öffnet derweilen ein kuschliger House-Floor der sich vom beschwingten meet-and-greet zum emotionalen Höhepunkt steigert, während auf dem MDF ein female-only Techno-Lineup zum sich Vergessen einlädt. Wer sich wieder finden möchte: In der kleinen Hütte gibt’s Karaoke zum gemeinsamen singen... get about united.

„about united“ strengthens the quiet and loud forms of resistance against the racist discourse on closing borders and its deadly practice. On Lesvos, an LGBTI+ group supports queer refugees, self-organized migrant groups in Germany provide support in the camps and defend labour and human rights irrespective of residence status, other supporters organizes health services for people without papers. We are united by the fight for the same right to rights: here, in Europe and all over the world.
A poster campaign with political demands of the supported activists is organized around the party and gives it a public expression. Bahati and Haszcara will open the evening with a female hip hop concert. The flow then brings us into the lobby, which celebrates its premiere as a hip hop floor. In the tent, a cuddly house floor opens up in the meantime, intensifying from a lively meet-and-greet to an emotional climax, while on the MDF a female-only techno lineup invites you to forget yourself.
