Das Leben selbst findet in Raumklang statt, diese Ausgabe von ‚Leisure System‘ ebenso: die Funktion-One wird auf ein 6.1-System umkonfiguriert, drei Live-Acts werden das Surround Sound-Format mit besonderen Sets ausreizen.
Geeint werden die drei Künstler durch ihre Haltung einerseits und die Suche nach dem Ausreizen von musikalischen Grenzen und Normen, wobei jeder eine für sich eigenständige Herangehensweise und einen originären Klang gefunden hat: Max Coopers gefühlsbetonte und rhythmisch fortschrittliche Produktionen; Monolake mit einem steten Quell neuer Technologien, mittels derer er seine einfachen und doch komplexen Ideen umsetzt; Aleksi Perälä macht Musik auf gänzlich neuen Tonleitern und legt damit neue Harmoniewelten frei.
Davor, dazwischen und danach am DJ-Pult: die Leisure System-Crew bestehend aus Barker, N>E>D und Gonsher.

Life takes place in surround sound, and this edition of ‘Leisure System’ does too. The Funktion-One system will be reconfigured to a 6.1 system, three live acts will be performing special sets in surround sound.
The artists are linked by their attitudes to pushing boundaries and challenging norms, with each having found a unique area of music to explore. Max Cooper’s emotive and rhythmically advanced productions have expanded what is acceptable on the dance floor, while Monolake is inventing new technology, needed to realise his simple but complex ideas. Aleksi Perälä creates music using entirely new scales, exposing new worlds of harmony.
