Zweitausendfuckzehn ist vorbei. Wir würden gar nicht erst in den mittlerweile redundanten Kanon kollektiven Weltschmerzes einstimmen, hätte die Katastrophe 2016 nicht auch die Griessmühle ordentlich erfasst. In der Nacht vom 19. auf den 20. Juni hat unser Freund und Resident, der Produzent, Live-Musiker und DJ Andreas Gehm nach hartem und kräftezehrenden Kampf gegen Krankheit und Schmerzen den Planeten verlassen. Ein Schock, der immer noch tief sitzt. Die Technowelt hat mit Andreas einen viel zu seltenen Punk im allerursprünglichsten Sinne verloren, der als Künstler und Mensch für kompromisslose Proper-as-Fuckness wie überzeugten Anti-Elitarismus stand. Wir vermissen Dich und wir werden Dich auf immer vermissen, Andreas.
Bei aller Trauer, nein, eben darum, freuen wir uns umso mehr auf massenhaftes Anstoßen – mit Euch, mit uns, auf Andreas, auf ZWEITAUSENDSIEBZEHN.
Wie jedes Jahr gibt es dazu im traditionell erweiterten Klubkomplex das passende Programm. Von uns und unseren Stammveranstaltern extraheiß auf blauer Flamme gekocht.
Los geht’s an Silvester um 22:00 Uhr und gefeiert wird bis tief in den zweiten Januar. Wir präsentieren proudly: ein Liveset der Schlampenhitschmiede Paranoid London, den Weltpremieren-Hybriden von Head Front Panel aka John Heckle und Charlton, UK-Techno-Alltimer Mark Broom, das Eklektikum eines Mosca, den Berceuse Heroique Overlord ΚΕΜΑΛ, einen Fünfstünder von Murat Tepeli auf dem Loft-Floor, dessen Mission-Statement “From Disco to Eurodance” uns jetzt schon Tränen der Lust in die Augen treibt, unseren Freund DJ Normal 4 aus dem Geberumfeld des Salon des Amateurs, der ein fantastisches Jahr zu feiern hat, und und und. Dazu natürlich eine Raketenladung Residents und Locals wie Franklin De Costas Mother's Finest Posse, das Berliner Technoduo I/Y, Tangible Assets Betreiber Stojche, Synoid-Host Acierate, Ricardo Esposito, Michael Nadjé und viele mehr.

Two thousand fuckteen is over. In fact, we wouldn’t even join into the by now redundant choir of Weltschmerz if the catastrophe 2016 hadn’t as well hit the Griessmühle as severely as it did. In the night from June 19th to 20th our friend and resident, the producer, live musician and DJ Andreas Gehm left planet earth after a hard and exhausting fight against illness and pain. A shock that is still deeply felt today. That night, the world of techno lost an all-too-rare punk in the realest sense of the word who, as an artist and as a human being, stood for uncompromised proper-as-fuckness as well as genuine anti-elitism. We miss you and we will forever miss you, Andreas.
Despite all our grief, no, exactly because of it, we are all the more looking forward to cheers galore – with you, with us, to Andreas, to TWO THOUSAND SEVENTEEN!
Like every year, we fill the traditionally extended club complex with the proper program, well-cooked by us and our reg promoters, nicely hot on a blue flame.
We hit things off at 22:00 o’clock on New Year’s Eve and we’re gonna party all through until deep into the 2nd of January. Griessmühle proudly presents: a live set by the hit smithery that is Paranoid London, a world premiere hybrid set by Head Front Panel aka John Heckle and Charlton, UK techno all-timer Mark Broom, the eclecticon of Mosca, Berceuse Heroique Overlord ΚΕΜΑΛ, a five hour set on the Loft floor upstairs by Murat Tepeli, the mission statement of which – “From Disco to Eurodance” – is already filling our eyes with tears of lust, our friend from the circle around Düsseldorf’s Salon Des Amateurs, DJ Normal 4, who has a fantastic 2016 to celebrate and many many more. On top of this, of course, a rocketload of residents and locals like Franklin De Costa with his Mother's Finest Posse, Berlin techno duo I/Y, Tangible Assets honcho Stojche, Synoid host Acierate, Ricardo Esposito, Michael Nadjé and many more.
