White Lie invites is an event series that will take place in cosy bars around Berlin - by music enthusiasts for music enthusiasts. But the rest of you can possibly also stop by..

This is a borderline-family affair where White Lie carefully throws out the invite to whomever she finds suitable and that she finds inspiring on a personal level. Proving her own diverse (and in lack of other words we have to go for this over-used one; eclectic) music taste - DJ's, record labels, and collectives are invited to come and share their music, both sperately and in b2b-action.

White Lie is not a typical Berlin techno-rebel, instead she's aiming to spread the vibes within the music genres; disco, house, broken beat, jazz, soul, funk, and afro-beat - with an occasional blink towards old school (& fair trade) hiphop-beats.

For the second edition the Parisian DJ and producer Jarod Esc. aka Disco Joe is "kindly invited" to come spinn a few;

_ Jarod Esc. aka Disco Joe (FR) is the founder of Escaped Records, Parisian House Label that just released its first Various Artist ESC001. He's inspiration goes deep down the roots of disco, funk and house music. He always tries to bring warmth to the dancefloor by playing oldies classics aswell as more energic tracks when needed to.

_ White Lie hails from Sweden but started DJing in Berlin late 2014 due to a strong feeling that the music scene was lacking diversity and prestige-less fun. Over the years she's been developing a synergy between disco, house, break beat, jazz, hiphop, soul and funk. She's been playing guest shows on "almost every web-radio in Europe" & starting to be known as the sluttiest bar DJ in the German capital (no pun intended).
