Once again we close the year with the infamous DURCH DIE ROHREN ZUM DEM GEIST, you can call it Silvester if you prefer. A family encounter to say bye bye to 2016. We present a selection of locals, veterans, future potentials and our very special guest, Bodo Hansen aka Syncboy.
SYNCBOY
syncboy aka bodo hansen created his own musical language, mixing up krautrock, psychedelic, (post)punk, electronica and drones using his laboratory of analogue synthesizers, sequencers, fx and field recordings
SPACELEX
spAceLex aka Alexander Arpeggio is a Berlin based Dj and producer, co-founder of Frisbee Records alongside Albion Venables and Dea, the label is devoted to edition of electronic disco tracks, the infamous “Heavy Rotation series” that counts three releases up to now. spAceLex also runs Mond Musikon his own, re-releasing officially and reediting some obscure and sought-after german productions from late 70s to early 80s like Papertiger And The Catcammer Orchestra – In The Disko, Eiskalte Engel, Der Gøtling – G-ZX LP which is a collaboration with Obermannkind, Dunkeltier (aka Sneaker DJ) and spAceLex, together they managed to restaure and reconstruct some tracks from an original tape, only 50 hand-numbered cassette copies of this underground minimal synth project where released back in 1986! A sub label of Mond Musik called „Eine Welt“ is out on the 28th November, this one is focusing on raw experimental acid, spatial techno, bubbeling soundscapes and fuzzy rhythms. The first release will be a compilation featuring still unknown artists and projects from Italy, Sweden, Spain, Austria, Germany, Denmark and Bulgaria. As a producer, in 2009 spAceLex signed Pretty Face EP on british-label Dissident run by Andy Blake. spAceLex is also the half of Aufgang B with Cid Hohner, which is a slow, acid and industrial project performing analogue live sets; the band shared an ep on Serious Trouble with Benedikt Frey and released B-Ware EP on austrian label Neubau including a remix by Tolouse Low Trax. The next ep should come out before summer…In parallel spAceLex also collaborate with Andrea Noce (aka eva Geist) in the formations Vera Mona, Agency Amore and Andrea & Alexander.
AS LONGITUDE
Laura (ODL) and Eva Geist first time met in Vilnius when they came here to participate in STRCAMP festival. They didn't know yet they will form a band. It will take a couple of years before they will meet again. This time in Berlin, at Sameheads, where they are active members of the club scene. Laura's experience as listener and records collector, Eva's career as live performer and composer, their mutual interests in sound studies, radio and unique music were all premises to start recording sessions. As Longitude features on Mond Musik sublabel´s Eine Welt first compilation, upcoming in November (LP 12"). Their first solo "Blauer Part" is expected end of 2016 on dutch label Knekelhuis.

GIORGIO GABBER
"Elia Buletti" aka "Giorgio Gabber" (Das Andere Selbst)
I actually was in Vae Victis (Misano) on the summer 1989, it was around 9 a.m. and there was a selection at the entry: two guys hanging on the garden door in front of a waving crowd. No line, the selectors were calling the selected straight out from the crowd by pointing to somebody and saying "you, in".
I was 15, hanging out with some older friends on a 2 weeks holiday, i will always be grateful to my mum cause she did let me go, we were coming from Cocorico that just opened that year and still was a really crazy place.
One of my friend had a lot of haunting clothes that he was kindly lending us, i remember i was wearing some black and white chess elephant legged suit and no t-shirt.
No idea how we got there, we were walking in the morning sun completely lost and suddenly we get to the Vae Victis parking, some guys were closing their car's door by kicking it violently as we entered the crowd.
Possibly we were a bit spaced out by the night and by this situation that was completely new, i just remember that at some point the guy at the door pointed to us and said "you guys in", the crowd opened and we walked through entering the garden. It was an incredibly good feeling, i still feel it when i tell the story.
OSCAR DER WINZIGE
Oscar der Winzige is founder of Sucked Orange, a gallery in Berlin, based on rituals and lucid dreams.
Son of a collector of avant-gardedementia artifacts, forgotten universes and hidden histories, "Der Winzige" continues his fathers work in the most private way possible; through re-realising this music with a select audience, keen to discovery new musical territory, hungry to push new boundaries and explore their own limits of fantasy. The experience is not solely musical. This is just one key in gaining a deeper understanding of a world, enriched by friendship, the collective experience and self-discovery.
Within cement caves in the early hours of the Berlin morning, the audience is invited to immerse themselves, to dive, as if under the influence of a slow-acting psychotropic poison, into abstraction, guided by sound into unknown atmospheres.
It’s also something special for you, the listener. It is a collection of opportunities to practice “dangerous” emotions in a “dangerous” situation, without having to confront to reality. A document, a testimony of the subcultural music of all nations. In other words, it offers you the chance to learn from the experience of others, and in this way, it fulfills one of the most important function of “music”.

MATAS AEROBICA
Matas Aerobica is thrown by the square lifebuoy used to propel a reliable music into digital age. He delves into music, which at first glance may seem not sensuous, and uses it as a tool for communication. Aerobica prefers rhythmic experiments and a passion which is found in an inexhaustible music underground.
