RAW CHICKS and female:pressure fly the flag for all the talented women in electronic music and form a growing position within the industry with their constant presence. This evening gives an insight into the quality which exists within the movement and which has already appeared in a professionalized form since the end of the nineties and which was initiated by Electric Indigo, Acid Maria, Gudrun Gut and others.

At the beginning of the year LIZA AIKIN released a 4-Tracker on Emetic, proving her soft spot for Industrial-Techno. It is noticeable with which precision the pieces are layered. "Luis XVI" gives a taste of the raw, indestructible sound that Aikins routinely brings to her live sets. KOROMOTO, on the other hand, takes up aspects of techno, acid, and electro to remodel and rearrange them all again. In the last few years, MO's DJ sets have become more deep and playful, they are now increasingly raw and technoider, surely enchanting b2b with RAW CHICKS resident JANOSHI in their mix of creativity and vitality everyone on the dance floor.

female:pressure outdoor floor is in good hands of AKKAMIAU, the older sister of all the cats. Her DJ sets resonate with the mystique drums guilted by space sounds and field recordings, bringing unexpected emotions into abstract architecture of techno. The live elements of analog techno are domain of ZV_K, duo Jessica Kert & Konstantin Gervis, masters of hypnotic techno, influenced by dub and acid, brought up on early industrial and old funk. Their real time arrangements of modular synthesizers bring each time the unique sensible experience for the audience. Brazilian electronic music composer and DJ ISABASSI is a newcomer on Berlin scene. She is exploring experimental rhythms to move body and soul, her sound of strong cadences and dark intricate textures lets the obscure come to the surface….. ’GOTTA LIGHT?’
