When talking about the German Techno-Export, Kanzleramt is without a doubt one of the most prominent representatives. Label boss Heiko Laux celebrated its 20th anniversary back in 2014. The basic tenor of chord emotion in 4/4 time in the best Transmat and Basic Channel fashion has remained more or less the same, and has been tried and tested by Laux on his album ‘Fernweh’ or last year’s appearance on Ben Klock's Klockworks label.
Since his earliest releases on Müller Records and shortly after the turn of the millennium, Ray Kajioka has never kept his his love for Detroit Techno a secret. His second album ‘Consistency’ from last year speaks a clear language. No wonder he has been an integral part of the Kanzleramt posse for the best part of a decade as a mate of Laux. Together, his releases focus on jacking grooves, which make each dancing leg swing higher. His Live-set will bring the Motorcity to us.
Although Kanzleramt is still two years off it’s 25th birthday, the 25 is already celebrated in the form of the 25th release of Kitkatone and Mike Wall on Wallmusic. So a fine occasion indeed, to push the boat a little bit further out.

Labelmacher Heiko Laux feierte bereits in 2014 20-jähriges Bestehen.
