IN THE FACE - After 6 successful years the legendary bass party is making its way over from Brighton (UK) to Berlin to bring the freshest vibes in UKG, BASS, BASSHOUSE, JACKIN HOUSE, GRIME and MUTANT BASS!! Over the years ITF have showcased the greats of the scene: Deadbeat UK, Killjoy, Hank Limit, PVC, Dr Cryptic, Taiki Nulight, Holy Goof, Kanji Kinetic, Hadean, King Hydra, Phatworld, Squire of Gothos just to name a few of them .. No doubt will some of those grace the floors of Berlin on the lineup of future In The Face Berlin (ITFB) events!
For this first taste of ITFB we are teaming up with Berlin’s own WIR SIND LAUT (WSL) - a well established outdoor party crew, known for Open Airs they put on in Wuhlheide (Berlin). WSL will will be bringing a wide spectrum of EDM sounds to the table, ranging from House, Minimal and Techhouse to Techno. To show they mean it, WSL are also including local up and comers A&O who have been smashing it at Salon our Wilden Renate (Berlin) and only recently had they debut at Suicide Circus, proving only one point: Thy know how to please a crowd!

☢ ELLFIVEDEE
Hailing from the South Coast of England, ELLFIVEDEE started out as a garage DJ, and quickly gained momentum as a highly booked DJ. At one point holding down residencies for the legendary Brighton based “Dubpressure”, as well as Vagabondz, Resonance, Proper Gander, Eyes Down and Future Dub alongside a weekly residency on the mighty Sub.FM. ELLFIVEDEE was amongst the first DJs to appear on GetDarkerTV, first on Episode 17 and then again on Episode 42, as well as being booked for Outlook and One Love Festivals.He continues to mix a full range of bass heavy tunes and joins us for a full garage set at Void.

☢ TOMMY LEXXUS (Garage Set)
Breaks was a huge thing in California, especially when the NuSkool subgenre came into play around 2002 with Rennie Pilgrim, B.L.I.M., and Aquasky writing gems for Thursday Club and Botchit. And on the Garage front, 2-Step was blowing up with Dj Hype doing Naughty Music, Hackney Soldiers, Peter Bouncer, and Youngstar on New Deal, along with Zed Bias and Shut Up & Dance leading the pack. Where Tommy Lexxus comes into the story is where that bridge was gapped between the two genres. San Diego, Los Angeles, and San Francisco were all big into the Breakbeat cultures, but Tommy found his niche caining 2-Step into his Breaks sets. Also a competing Turntablist at the time, he had won 2nd place in the Bay Area Breaks DJ Battle. Not finding the plates in the US stores, he became one of the very first West Coast DJ’s to exclusively order his vinyl from a small shop in the UK (at the time), that specialized in Garage white labels. “Without name dropping all the parties and crews and headliners that rocked those genres back then (you know who you are and are loved!), I’m really stoked that NuGarage is really coming back in force, and love the gap it fills in my crate. Sometimes Dubstep doesn’t give me the kick in my pants that only 2-Step can”.
☢ ZEMON
He’s been making all sorts of tunes for a bit now and is absolutely merkin it at the moment getting support from Markus Nasty (RINSE FM), Deadbeat UK, B Squared, Sirmo, Paleface, Madness KMA Joedan, Dr Cryptic, On1, Tigs to name only a few. With UKG releases on the prestigious Northern Line Records as well as on Serene City, About the Music Records and many more forthcoming including In The Face Records itself, his set is sure to be a showerman ting blazing only the freshest dubs and exclusives, so do buckle up - things will get bumpy!
☢ STINOE B2B KITE
Now THIS is gonna be fun!! Two absolute veterans on the DJ circuit of Berlin are gonna team up for a Garage, Bass, Grime and Mutantbass extravaganza!! Stinoe has been rolling with the True Beatz Crew since 1997 and Kite, after many years of ripping up dance floors in the dubstep scene is now the personal DJ of German HipHop Superstar Mach One. So with their fingers in all the pies from HipHop, Soul, Funk, Breaks, DnB, Jungle, Dubstep, Grime to Garage, Bassline and Jackin, this wide array of styles will no doubt make for a special Bass Madness with so much style, if Prince was still amongst us (RIP bro) - he would probably be booking flights to Berlin right now!
☢ LUC MASERA
Ok, do we really have to explain this one? It’s Luc Masera people - badman producer and DJ of any bpm. Behind the decks for 12 years now, he's been through the lot: UK Funky, UKG, Grime, Jungle, Dubstep or even Drum and Bass with a bit of Juke influence you name it - this guy is versatile and mixes the styles flawlessly! ☢ 65 SHAPESHIFTERS
Sorry.. have you seen this kid?? He might be the youngen in the squad, but what he lacks in age, he makes up for in steez. Known mostly to be Berlin’s Juke and Footwork pioneer and part of the mighty Signals crew, he has a whole other side which he kept in small circles thus far, but ITFB aint gonna let him hold back the any longer: “It’s called House and Garage” - Giving the term child prodigy a whole new meaning, he brings you the raw oldschool vibes like its the early 90s. Mixed with the future sounds of House and Garage, spiced up with a bit of grime, that’s champaign bottle popping vibes seamlessly blended with a brick in the face - In The Face!! .. A soft brick though .. smushy .. you’re gonna love it

Now what did we miss and where did they come from?! Hell Yeah, those two guys are totally delivering. You know like 120%. Their sets are just a sunball full of energy. Locked up for years in some Berlin wonderland club thing to play music to the most glitterest and clubbed up people this town knows, we could manage to hijack these geezers to rinse out the Wir Sind Laut floor. Some days ago those guys managed to escape their dungeon for some hours and smashed it at Suicide Circus. Oh and their sets at the legendary Salon Zur Wilden Renate and myth-enshrouded Hash Mich Open Air....Holy Vinoly!

No matter if Vinyl or digital, you will get to hear a well thought out set. Makes no sense to tell you were he already played, because he played everywhere in Germany and always let the crowd escalate quickly.
