Im Sommer 2020 wurde das für seine futuristischen Soundentwürfe geschätzte Label Whities umbenannt und heißt seitdem AD 93. Die Katalognummern werden nach dem Rebranding ebenso weitergeführt wie der Wille zum musikalischen Wagemut. Auf dem britischen Label von Nic Tasker erscheint von der Modernen Klassik von Maxwell Sterling, dem roughen Techno von Anunaku bis hin zu den wundervollen Ambient-Epen der Wahlberliner Produzentin und DJ Vivian Koch vieles, was man nicht auf einen musikalischen Nenner bringen kann – außer vielleicht, dass es sich um jeweils sehr gute, sehr persönliche Musik in ihrem Bereich handelt. Zur AD 93-Nacht in der Panorama Bar hat Tasker neben Vivian Koch mit Vladimir Ivkovic einen DJ eingeladen, der diesem offenen, jenseits der Standards operierenden musikalischen Konzept zu 100% entspricht. Ehua wiederum ist Teil des Kollektivs GRIOT, ein Kollektiv, das sich auf Musik und Kunst aus Afrika und der globalen Diaspora fokussiert. Ihre Produktionen sind polyrhythmische, raumgreifende Tracks, die sich auch blendend in ihren Percussion-geladenen Sets machen.

In summer of 2020 the Whities label, esteemed for its futuristic sound designs, was renamed and has since been called AD 93. The catalog numbers will continue after the rebranding, as will the will for musical daring. The British label, run by Nic Tasker, releases music ranging from the modern classic compositions of Maxwell Sterling via raw techno by Anunaku to the wonderful ambient epics of Berlin-based producer and DJ Vivian Koch – a lot of things that you can not boil down to a musical denominator, except maybe that they are all very good, very personal records in their respective field. For this AD 93 night at Panorama Bar, Tasker not only invited Vivian Koch but also Vladimir Ivkovic, a DJ who is 100% in line with this open musical concept that operates beyond the standards. Ehua is part of GRIOT, a collective focused on music and arts from Africa and the global diaspora. Her productions are polyrhythmic, spacey tracks that blend into her percussion-laden sets.
