HYTE is returning to Berlin on New Year’s Eve 2017 for a one-of-a-kind 24-hour rave featuring an unrivalled electronic music line-up the HYTE brand is so well known for. This is without a doubt, one of the most outstanding events of this kind in Europe for this time of year.

For this year’s NYE event, HYTE is taking over the undoubtedly most stunning event venue in Berlin right now called “Funkhaus”. Funkhaus consists of various buildings, including a massive warehouse called “Shedhalle” with a raw, stripped back feel, which will be the main room for HYTE NYE this year. Further stages will be installed in other rooms with a vintage charm of the 60's and 70's. Expect a typical classic Berlin style, not found anywhere else in the world nowadays.

HOW TO GET THERE

Shuttle:
Shuttle bus between the train station "Ostkreuz" and Funkhaus all night long. Only € 2,- per ride. Please provide small change. By arrival by train at Ostkreuz, exit in direction "Markgrafendamm". Then turn left, walk for150m, bus stop on the right!

By local trains trains + shuttle bus
Various regional and local trains to train station "Ostkreuz", from there official HYTE but shuttle service to the venue. (EUR 2,- per person, pay in the bus)

By tram
tram line 21, station "Köpenicker Ch./Blockdammweg" (direction "S-Schöneweide" from Friedrichshain). It leaves from Friedrichshain, train station "Ostkreuz" or S-Bahn train station "Rummelsburg"

- From Friedrichshain and Kreuzberg: EUR 15,- to EUR 20,-
- From Mitte (Alexanderplatz etc.): EUR 20,- to EUR 25,-

We recommend to not come by car as there will be no parking available.

LOCKERS
There will be a limited amount of lockers available at the event to safely stow away any belongings. Locker are available in presale! Get yours upfront to avoid long queues at the rental counter! You will get your PIN code upfront, so you can go straight to your personal locker. We advise to share lockers with others to make sure everyone gets the chance to use a locker. The small ones are fine for two, the big ones fit for groups of four. Please do not forget your belongings in the locker, before you leave the event. Please note, there will be no other place to store your belongings (no wardrobe etc.).

SECURITY
Please note that only small bags and backpacks are allowed. Our security team is screening all bags at the entrance. Notebooks, tablets, professional camera equipment, GoPros and similar technical stuff is not allowed.
We would like to advise to bring as less stuff with you as possible – it will help everyone to get quickly into the venue.

FOOD & DRINKS
All bars and food supplier operate using only a token system. Delicious food & drink is something we pride ourselves in! We're excited to let you know that the famous Berlin pizza restaurant "Zola" is opening a branch at Funkhaus, where they will be selling their popular pizza straight out of the Stefano Ferrara oven from Naples throughout the event! More food options will be announced soon!

ENTRANCE / MINIMUM AGE
The event is an 18+ event, that means no access below 18 years. Doors open at 18:00. Please note, our security check might take some time so come early and/or be a little patient, please. Please take the entrance gate according to your type of ticket (regular ticket or premium ticket). On request of security staff, you should be able to identify yourself. Access might be denied without a valid identification document (id card, passport, driver’s license), without refund of the entrance fee.

RE-ENTRY POLICY
No re-entry. Once you leave the venue you are not allowed to return.

CASH & CREDIT CARDS
On-site you can purchase tokens, which are needed to buy food and drinks. There are token vending machines and token cash points available in several places on-site. We accept cash, credit cards and debit cards. Please note, there will be no ATMs on site to withdraw money.

DISABLED ACCESS
We strive to make sure that everyone can enjoy HYTE, so we try our best to make all sites as accessible as possible. Please note, some areas are not accessible in a wheelchair, such as galleries (stairs, no elevators in venue). We provide a free ticket to a needed attending person.

MEDICAL CARE
In case of any medial incidents, no matter, if small scratches or serious injuries there will be medical care available at the event. Do not hesitate to visit the medical care team, if you might feel unwell. Medical care will be located at the backside of Room 1 - Shedhalle, clearly marked, so easy to find. If you see anyone at the event, who appears to be in need of medical assistance, please inform a member of our medical or security team or any other staff member. We are all together in this, so please look out for one another!

SOUND LEVELS
Loud music will be played at the event venue. The venue management and the HYTE crew are not liable for any negative consequences that may occur. We recommend using earplugs and to visit some of the quiet areas regularly to give your ears some rest.

Entering the event area is at your own risk. The venue management and the HYTE crew, as well as our employees, can’t be held liable for any self-imposed injury, material damage and immaterial damage of the visitors of the location/event.

PLEASE NOTE, WHEN RULES ARE NOT BEING FOLLOWED ACCESS TO THE EVENT WILL BE DENIED WITHOUT ANY REFUND. IF ACCESS IS DENIED, YOU WILL DIRECTLY BE REMOVED FROM THE EVENT AREA.
