After a globe-trotting year of events, HYTE returns to Funkhaus Berlin on New Year’s Eve 2018 for a 24-hour marathon with another carefully curated line-up of established high-profile headliners and some of the unquestioned most interesting talents of the underground scene.
Funkhaus is a colossal and iconic East German complex dating back to 1951 that used to be the largest radio-broadcasting site in the world, and today is a treasure trove for Berlin's electronic music scene. It mixes modernist, clear Bauhaus design with colossal Soviet architecture and cavernous industrial halls.
PREMIUM TICKET:
- Access to the exclusive premium area (gallery / 1st floor of Shedhalle / view on main room incl. its stage).
- Exclusive chill-out area in the premium area
- Exclusive bars in the premium area, additional selection of drinks, which are not available at regular bars

- No latest entry time (with a valid ticket entering the venue for the first time is possible during the whole event from 18:00 - 18:00)
HOW TO GET THERE
Public Transport / Bus Shuttle:
Various regional and local trains (S-Bahn) to train station "Ostkreuz", from there runs a bus shuttle service to Funkhaus. (EUR 3,- one way, EUR 5,- return ticket). Take the exit “Hauptstraße / Markgrafendamm” when leaving Ostkreuz. If you have a Premium Ticket for HYTE NYE Berlin 2018, you can use the bus shuttle for free without any additional payment!
Tramway
Tram line 21, station "Köpenicker Ch./Blockdammweg" is 200m away from Funkhaus (direction "S-Schöneweide" from Friedrichshain). It leaves from various stations in Friedrichshain, or from S-Bahn train station "Rummelsburg" (all stations https://citymapper.com/berlin/tram/tram-21)
By taxi:
Please note, it might be difficult to get a taxi in the night of NYE, because of the high demand in the whole city. Here are the numbers of some taxi services: +49 30 443 322 / +49 30 261 026 / + 49 30 210 101.

- From Friedrichshain and Kreuzberg: EUR 15,- to EUR 20,-

By car:
We recommend to not come by car as there will be no parking available.
SECURITY
Please note that only small bags are allowed (up to size of DIN A4 format, approx. 20cm x 30cm). Our security team is screening all bags at the entrance. Notebooks, tablets, professional camera equipment, GoPros and similar technical stuff is not allowed.
We would like to advise to bring as less stuff with you as possible – it will help everyone to get quickly into the venue.

CASHLESS PAYMENT SYSTEM
At HYTE NYE Berlin 2018 we will use a new cashless payment system. Everybody will receive a wristband when entering the venue. With this wristband, you can make all payments at the event - food, drinks, cigarettes and merchandise. It's easy, very convenient and super comfortable. The payment process is super fast and straightforward: Your wristband will be scanned within a second, a successful payment will show up on the screen of the scanning device, and you’re ready to go. No need to carry cash with you all the time. There will be top-up stations at the event to upload credit to your wristband. You can pay with cash, credit card or debit card.
Want to save some money on drinks? Don't want to queue up at the event? Then this is something for you: Just order a drink package in presale, and your wristband will be sent to you before the event by post. This option is only available until December, 18th!

FOOD & DRINKS
At HYTE NYE Berlin 2018 we will use a new cashless payment system. On your wristband, you will have your personal QR code. You can top up your wristband with the amount (min. EUR 10,-) you like at one of the many top-up stations. Accepted payment methods are cash, debit and credit cards. With your wristband, you can pay for everything at the event, at every bar, at all food stands, cigarettes and everything else.
Delicious food & drink is something we pride ourselves in! There will be various food options available at HYTE NYE Berlin 2018:
- Zola Pizza: amazing Neapolitan pizza out of the woodfired stone oven
- Lino's Barbecue: Texas style BBQ, chopped beef, pastrami brisket and other nice stuff out of the smoker
- Mojewa: Vegeratian and vegan so-called surrito rolls with rice and other lovely ingredients, like prawns, salmon or crunchy mango seitan
- Pic Nic 34: Gnocchis with ragout or tomato basil sauce or green pesto

LOCKERS
There will be a limited amount of lockers available at the event to safely stow away any belongings. We recommend getting your locker in presale on our website www.hyte.net to avoid long queues at the rental counter. You will get your PIN upfront so you can go straight to your personal locker. We advise sharing lockers with others to make sure everyone gets the chance to use a locker. The small ones are fine for two, the big ones fit for groups of maximum four. Please do not forget your belongings in the locker, before you leave the event.
ENTRANCE / MINIMUM AGE
All HYTE events are 18+ events, that means no access below 18 years. Doors open at 18:00. Please note, our security check might take some time so come early and/or be a little patient, please. Please take the entrance gate according to your type of ticket (regular ticket or premium ticket). There will be separate gates for male/female, too. On request of security staff, you should be able to identify yourself. Access might be denied without a valid identification document (id card, passport, driver’s license), without refund of the entrance fee.
RE-ENTRY / LATEST ENTRY TIME:

DISABLED ACCESS
We strive to make sure that everyone can enjoy HYTE, so we try our best to make all sites as accessible as possible. Please note, some areas are not accessible in a wheelchair, such as galleries (stairs, no elevators in venue). Necessary personal assistants will get access to the event free of charge. Several accessible toilets will be available in the venue.
MEDICAL CARE
In case of any medial incidents, no matter, if small scratches or serious injuries there will be medical care available at the event. Do not hesitate to visit the medical care team, if you might feel unwell. Medical care will be located at the backside of Room 1 - Shedhalle, clearly marked, so easy to find. If you see anyone at the event, who appears to be in need of medical assistance, please inform a member of our medical or security team or any other staff member. We are all together in this, so please look out for one another!

There will be a merchandise stand at HYTE NYE Berlin 2018, where brand new editions HYTE t-shirts and bags will available.

SOUND LEVELS
Loud music will be produced in the event area. The venue management and the HYTE crew are not liable for any negative consequences that may occur. We recommend using earplugs and visiting some of the quiet areas regularly to give your ears some rest.

Entering the event area is at your own risk. The venue management and the HYTE crew, as well as our employees, can’t be held liable for any self-inflicted injury, material damage and immaterial damage of the visitors of the location/event.

Öffentlicher Nahverkehr / Shuttle-Bus
Diverse S- und Regional-Bahnen fahren zum Bahnhof "Ostkreuz", von dort aus fährt ein Shuttle-Bus zum Funkhaus. (EUR 3,- einfache Fahrt, EUR 5,- Rückfahrkarte). Bitte den Ausgang “Hauptstraße / Markgrafendamm” beim Verlassen des Bahnhofs nehmen. Wenn Du ein Premium-Ticket hast, kannst Du den Shuttle-Bus kostenlos ohne weitere Zuzahlung nutzen.
Straßenbahn

BARGELDLOSES ZAHLUNGSSYSTEM
Bei HYTE NYE Berlin 2018 werden wir ein neues bardgeldloses Zahlungssystem nutzen. Jeder Gast erhält direkt am Eingang ein Armbändchen. Mit diesem Armband kannst Du alles beim Event bezahlen - Essen, Getränke, Zigaretten und Merchandise. Ganz einfach, easy und schnell. Um z.B. für einen Drink zu bezahlen, wird Dein Armband an der Bar innerhalb von Sekunden gescannt und die erfolgreiche Bezahlung wird direkt auf dem Bildschirm des Scanners angezeigt. Du brauchst nicht die ganze Zeit Bargeld mit Dir herum zu tragen. Bei der Veranstaltung wird es sogenannte "Top-Up-Stationen" geben, wo Du Guthaben auf Dein Armband laden kannst - das geht bar, per Kreditkarte oder mit Deiner EC-/Debit-Karte. SCHLIESSFÄCHER

Es steht nicht für jeden ein eigenes Schließfach zur Verfügung, wir empfehlen Euch deshalb diese zu teilen. In ein Standard-Schließfach passen ca. zwei Jacken, die großen reichen für drei bis maximal vier Personen. Ihr bekommt vorab einen PIN-Code, mit dem ihr direkt zu Eurem Schließfach gehen könnt, ohne Euch vorher noch eimal anstellen zu müssen.
EINLASS / MINDESTALTER
Alle HYTE-Veranstaltungen sind 18+-Events, d.h. Einlass ausschließlich ab 18 Jahren. Die Türen öffnen um 18:00 Uhr. Wir bemühen uns um möglichst schnelle Einlasskontrollen. Bitte beachtet, dass es trotzdem manchmal bei großem Ansturm zu Wartezeiten führen kann, daher bitte früh kommen und/oder ein klein wenig Geduld mitbringen. Auf Anfrage muss unserem Sicherheitspersonal ein Ausweisdokument vorgelegt werden (Personalausweis, Reisepass, Führerschein). Ohne gültiges Ausweisdokument kann der Einlass verwehrt werden, ohne Anspruch auf Erstattung des Eintrittspreises.

BARRIEREFREIHEIT
Wir versuchen HYTE für jeden so zugänglich wie möglich zu machen. Bitte habt Verständnis das nicht alle Bereiche für Rollstuhlfahrer zugänglich sind. Betreuer haben freien Eintritt. Es stehen mehrere barrierefreie Toiletten zu Verfügung.
SANITÄTER UND MEDIZINISCHE VERSORGUNG
Bei kleinen Kratzern, aber auch ernsthaften Verletzungen, stehen für Euch die Helfer vom Deutschen Roten Kreuz bereit, die mit Sanitätern und Notarzt vor Ort sein werden. Ihr findet die Station vom Roten Kreuz direkt am regulären Haupteingang des Schwimmbades, ansonsten sind die Sanitäter auch überall auf dem Gelände unterwegs. Falls ihr jemanden sehen solltet, der Hilfe benötigt, meldet Euch bitte sofort bei einem Helfer des DRK oder bei einem Security-Mitarbeiter. Wir wollen alle zusammen feiern, also achtet bitte aufeinander.

HOW TO GET THERE
Public Transport / Bus Shuttle:
Various regional and local trains (S-Bahn) to train station "Ostkreuz", from there runs a bus shuttle service to Funkhaus. (EUR 3,- one way, EUR 5,- return ticket). Take the exit “Hauptstraße / Markgrafendamm” when leaving Ostkreuz. If you have a Premium Ticket for HYTE NYE Berlin 2018, you can use the bus shuttle for free without any additional payment!
Tramway
Tram line 21, station "Köpenicker Ch./Blockdammweg" is 200m away from Funkhaus (direction "S-Schöneweide" from Friedrichshain). It leaves from various stations in Friedrichshain, or from S-Bahn train station "Rummelsburg" (all stations https://citymapper.com/berlin/tram/tram-21)
By taxi:

We recommend to not come by car as there will be no parking available.
SECURITY
Please note that only small bags are allowed (up to size of DIN A4 format, approx. 20cm x 30cm). Our security team is screening all bags at the entrance. Notebooks, tablets, professional camera equipment, GoPros and similar technical stuff is not allowed.
We would like to advise to bring as less stuff with you as possible – it will help everyone to get quickly into the venue.

CASHLESS PAYMENT SYSTEM
At HYTE NYE Berlin 2018 we will use a new cashless payment system. Everybody will receive a wristband when entering the venue. With this wristband, you can make all payments at the event - food, drinks, cigarettes and merchandise. It's easy, very convenient and super comfortable. The payment process is super fast and straightforward: Your wristband will be scanned within a second, a successful payment will show up on the screen of the scanning device, and you’re ready to go. No need to carry cash with you all the time. There will be top-up stations at the event to upload credit to your wristband. You can pay with cash, credit card or debit card.
Want to save some money on drinks? Don't want to queue up at the event? Then this is something for you: Just order a drink package in presale, and your wristband will be sent to you before the event by post. This option is only available until December, 18th!

FOOD & DRINKS
At HYTE NYE Berlin 2018 we will use a new cashless payment system. On your wristband, you will have your personal QR code. You can top up your wristband with the amount (min. EUR 10,-) you like at one of the many top-up stations. Accepted payment methods are cash, debit and credit cards. With your wristband, you can pay for everything at the event, at every bar, at all food stands, cigarettes and everything else.
Delicious food & drink is something we pride ourselves in! There will be various food options available at HYTE NYE Berlin 2018:
- Zola Pizza: amazing Neapolitan pizza out of the woodfired stone oven
- Lino's Barbecue: Texas style BBQ, chopped beef, pastrami brisket and other nice stuff out of the smoker
- Mojewa: Vegeratian and vegan so-called surrito rolls with rice and other lovely ingredients, like prawns, salmon or crunchy mango seitan
- Pic Nic 34: Gnocchis with ragout or tomato basil sauce or green pesto

LOCKERS
There will be a limited amount of lockers available at the event to safely stow away any belongings. We recommend getting your locker in presale on our website www.hyte.net to avoid long queues at the rental counter. You will get your PIN upfront so you can go straight to your personal locker. We advise sharing lockers with others to make sure everyone gets the chance to use a locker. The small ones are fine for two, the big ones fit for groups of maximum four. Please do not forget your belongings in the locker, before you leave the event.
ENTRANCE / MINIMUM AGE
All HYTE events are 18+ events, that means no access below 18 years. Doors open at 18:00. Please note, our security check might take some time so come early and/or be a little patient, please. Please take the entrance gate according to your type of ticket (regular ticket or premium ticket). There will be separate gates for male/female, too. On request of security staff, you should be able to identify yourself. Access might be denied without a valid identification document (id card, passport, driver’s license), without refund of the entrance fee.
RE-ENTRY / LATEST ENTRY TIME:

DISABLED ACCESS
We strive to make sure that everyone can enjoy HYTE, so we try our best to make all sites as accessible as possible. Please note, some areas are not accessible in a wheelchair, such as galleries (stairs, no elevators in venue). Necessary personal assistants will get access to the event free of charge. Several accessible toilets will be available in the venue.
MEDICAL CARE
In case of any medial incidents, no matter, if small scratches or serious injuries there will be medical care available at the event. Do not hesitate to visit the medical care team, if you might feel unwell. Medical care will be located at the backside of Room 1 - Shedhalle, clearly marked, so easy to find. If you see anyone at the event, who appears to be in need of medical assistance, please inform a member of our medical or security team or any other staff member. We are all together in this, so please look out for one another!

There will be a merchandise stand at HYTE NYE Berlin 2018, where brand new editions HYTE t-shirts and bags will available.

SOUND LEVELS
Loud music will be produced in the event area. The venue management and the HYTE crew are not liable for any negative consequences that may occur. We recommend using earplugs and visiting some of the quiet areas regularly to give your ears some rest.

Entering the event area is at your own risk. The venue management and the HYTE crew, as well as our employees, can’t be held liable for any self-inflicted injury, material damage and immaterial damage of the visitors of the location/event.

ANFAHRT
Öffentlicher Nahverkehr / Shuttle-Bus
Diverse S- und Regional-Bahnen fahren zum Bahnhof "Ostkreuz", von dort aus fährt ein Shuttle-Bus zum Funkhaus. (EUR 3,- einfache Fahrt, EUR 5,- Rückfahrkarte). Bitte den Ausgang “Hauptstraße / Markgrafendamm” beim Verlassen des Bahnhofs nehmen. Wenn Du ein Premium-Ticket hast, kannst Du den Shuttle-Bus kostenlos ohne weitere Zuzahlung nutzen.
Straßenbahn

BARGELDLOSES ZAHLUNGSSYSTEM
Bei HYTE NYE Berlin 2018 werden wir ein neues bardgeldloses Zahlungssystem nutzen. Jeder Gast erhält direkt am Eingang ein Armbändchen. Mit diesem Armband kannst Du alles beim Event bezahlen - Essen, Getränke, Zigaretten und Merchandise. Ganz einfach, easy und schnell. Um z.B. für einen Drink zu bezahlen, wird Dein Armband an der Bar innerhalb von Sekunden gescannt und die erfolgreiche Bezahlung wird direkt auf dem Bildschirm des Scanners angezeigt. Du brauchst nicht die ganze Zeit Bargeld mit Dir herum zu tragen. Bei der Veranstaltung wird es sogenannte "Top-Up-Stationen" geben, wo Du Guthaben auf Dein Armband laden kannst - das geht bar, per Kreditkarte oder mit Deiner EC-/Debit-Karte. SCHLIESSFÄCHER
Eine limitierte Anzahl an Schließfächern für HYTE NYE Berlin 2018 ist jetzt noch im Vorverkauf auf hyte.net erhältlich! Es steht nicht für jeden ein eigenes Schließfach zur Verfügung, wir empfehlen Euch deshalb diese zu teilen. In ein Standard-Schließfach passen ca. zwei Jacken, die großen reichen für drei bis maximal vier Personen. Ihr bekommt vorab einen PIN-Code, mit dem ihr direkt zu Eurem Schließfach gehen könnt, ohne Euch vorher noch eimal anstellen zu müssen.
EINLASS / MINDESTALTER
Alle HYTE-Veranstaltungen sind 18+-Events, d.h. Einlass ausschließlich ab 18 Jahren. Die Türen öffnen um 18:00 Uhr. Wir bemühen uns um möglichst schnelle Einlasskontrollen. Bitte beachtet, dass es trotzdem manchmal bei großem Ansturm zu Wartezeiten führen kann, daher bitte früh kommen und/oder ein klein wenig Geduld mitbringen. Auf Anfrage muss unserem Sicherheitspersonal ein Ausweisdokument vorgelegt werden (Personalausweis, Reisepass, Führerschein). Ohne gültiges Ausweisdokument kann der Einlass verwehrt werden, ohne Anspruch auf Erstattung des Eintrittspreises.

- Wiedereinlass ist nach 09:00 Uhr morgens möglich (kein Wiedereinlass zwischen 18:00 and 09:00 Uhr)

BARRIEREFREIHEIT
Wir versuchen HYTE für jeden so zugänglich wie möglich zu machen. Bitte habt Verständnis das nicht alle Bereiche für Rollstuhlfahrer zugänglich sind. Betreuer haben freien Eintritt. Es stehen mehrere barrierefreie Toiletten zu Verfügung.
SANITÄTER UND MEDIZINISCHE VERSORGUNG
Bei kleinen Kratzern, aber auch ernsthaften Verletzungen, stehen für Euch die Helfer vom Deutschen Roten Kreuz bereit, die mit Sanitätern und Notarzt vor Ort sein werden. Ihr findet die Station vom Roten Kreuz direkt am regulären Haupteingang des Schwimmbades, ansonsten sind die Sanitäter auch überall auf dem Gelände unterwegs. Falls ihr jemanden sehen solltet, der Hilfe benötigt, meldet Euch bitte sofort bei einem Helfer des DRK oder bei einem Security-Mitarbeiter. Wir wollen alle zusammen feiern, also achtet bitte aufeinander.
