Bei uns im Baergarten findet die vom Musicboard Berlin geförderte Veranstaltung: "Newcomer Day" statt. Um neben den etablierten Berliner Künstler:innen auch dem Nachwuchs eine Bühne zu geben, werden sechs Berliner DJ’s aus den unterschiedlichen Richtungen der elektronischen Musik die Patenschaft für jeweils einen Veranstaltungstag übernehmen.
Diesen Sonntag übernimmt Laura BCR den Newcomer Day, gemeinsam mit ihren drei ausgewählten Newcomern Ina Kacz, Leo Wieber und rrrrrod.
Kommt vorbei und genießt den frischen Sound mit guten Drinks und heißer Pizza!

The event "Newcomer Day", sponsored by the Musicboard Berlin, will take place at our Baergarten. In order to give newcomers a stage alongside established Berlin artists, six Berlin DJs from different areas of electronic music will each take on the mentorship of one day of the event.
This Sunday Laura BCR takes over Newcomer Day, along with her three chosen newcomers Ina Kacz, Leo Wieber and rrrrrod.
Come by and enjoy the fresh sound with good drinks and hot pizza!

Laura BCR has her ear to the ground. The French DJ and On Board Music label founder is always on the lookout for new music to spin, or for artists to join her monthly Rinse France radio show. She takes her name from the much-loved and now closed, Berlin record store, Bass Cadet Records, where she spent a couple of years behind the counter. These days, Laura is best known for her transportive, deep techno and dubby ambient DJ sets, which have brought her to some of Europe’s finest venues. Her own productions first surfaced in 2020 and were included on both of On Board Music’s stand-out, charity compilations. More original music is in the works, as well as a continuous evolution behind the decks.
Ina Kacz is a French/Polish techno dj born in France and based in Berlin. Ina defends her own vision of techno by blending deep and hypnotical tunes with experimental soundscapes. Ina is resident for Art Bei Ton, Berlin-based event series and concept.
Born in France, Leo Wieber studied Jazz and Guitar before moving to Berlin in 2013. Having a passion for sound, he quickly became a regular guest at techno partys, and eventually started DJing and experimenting with electronics around 2015. His sound oscillates between Dub, Ambient and Deep Techno with an audible affinity to IDM. Since he started, he collected some experiences playing at events in Berlin. Beside Music making, he is currently studying Audio Engineering in Berlin.
rrrrrod is the alias for Sebastián Rodillo, a Chilean designer and DJ based Berlin with a special affection for stimulating new sounds and brain pickers. He is hosting the online radio show VATIOS on super45.fm since 2020.
