Knapp dreieinhalb Jahre ist es her, dass mit CLFT eine weitere
Plattenschmiede für knalligen Techno ihre Pforten öffnete. Dass die Jungs aus Lyon einen langen Atem und ein Gespür für aufstrebende Talente besitzen, beweisen sie in 2016 mit der nunmehr zehnten Platte. Ein Jubiläum, das es bei uns im Haus zu feiern gilt. Selbstverständlich an den Reglern zu sehen sein wird Binny, in dessen Qualitäten inzwischen auch Dax J und Ben Sims auf ihren Labels vertrauen und der sich verantwortlich für eben jenes zehnte Release zeigt. Konsequent in Groove
und Power stehen CLFT Militia und 3.14 dem Liverpooler in nichts nach und komplettieren das Label-Ensemble mit körperbetontem repetitiven Techno, der um das eine oder andere ausschweifende Moment nicht verlegen ist. Das No Frills sicht nicht als Teil von etwas begreifen und mit der geballten Keule musikalischer Vielschichtigkeit von Acid bis Wave für
einen lautmalerischen Tapetenwechsel sorgen, passt da nur zu gut ins Bild.

It’s already been three years, that with CLFT another record presser for distinctive techno records opened its doors. These guys from Lyon have a lot of patience and an instinct for finding emerging talent, evident by the publishing of their tenth record in 2016. An achievement that is worthy of celebrating with us. Of course Binny will be seen playing on the controls, whose qualities are relied on by DAX J and Ben Sim’s Label, which shows his responsibility for this their tenth release. Consistent in groove and power are the Liverpudlians CLFT Militia and 3.14, a perfect match that completes the label-ensemble, with complimentary repetitive techno, which is not misplaced against one another’s extravagant moments. No Frills separate themselves from the rest of the music with their tightly compressed beats [there is no real translation for geballten Keule, I’m not sure if you have a better suggestion], consisting of musical complexity ranging from acid to wave for a physically stimulating change of scene, fitting all to well into the picture.
