Seit beinahe 15 Jahren veröffentlicht Nima Khak Platten und hat damit Unmengen an Erfahrung einsammeln können. Mit der schickt er sich nun an, über kurz oder lang das Zepter der schwedischen Veteranen zu übernehmen, die Techno in Skandinavien großgemacht haben. Viele davon sind bereits langjährige Weggefährten. Beispielsweise Jesper Dahlbäck, mit dem er Ende Dezember einen kantigen 3-Tracker auf Stockholm LTD veröffentlichte. Die Art und Weise, wie dabei die Generationsunterschiede zur Geltung kommen, macht die Platte stilistisch so spannend. Frühe Kooperationen mit Nihad Tule und Joel Mull sowie Features auf Compilations von Cari Lekebusch und Alexi Delano sprechen eine deutliche Sprache, wo die Reise von Nima Khak in den vergangenen Jahren hinging. Unterstützung gibt es von zwei schweren Geschützen der Hamburger Plattenschmiede District 66, die gleichzeitig regelmäßig als Veranstaltungsreihe durch diverse Clubs tingelt. Passender könnte der Anlass dafür aktuell nicht sein, erschien doch kürzlich die zweite große Labelcompilation mit zahlreichen Beiträgen aus dem engeren Umfeld. Unbedingt reinhören in „Central Station“ von Clark Davis sowie „Run Away“ von Markus Schwarz. Heavy!

Nima Khak has been releasing records for almost 15 years and has gained vast amounts of experience.
With that he now wants to take over sooner or later the scepter of the Swedish veterans who have made techno in Scandinavia.
Many of them are already longtime companions.
For example Jesper Dahlbäck with whom he published an edgy 3-tracker on Stockholm LTD at the end of December.
The way in which the generational differences come into their own makes the record stylistically so exciting.
Early collaborations with Nihad Tule and Joel Mull as well as features on compilations by Cari Lekebusch and Alexi Delano speak a clear language where the journey of Nima Khak went in recent years.
Support is provided by two heavy guns of the Hamburg record smithy District 66 which is also regularly touring as a series of events by various clubs. The occasion for this could not be more appropriate as recently the second big label compilation with numerous contributions appeared recently from the closer environment.
Make sure to listen on "Central Station" by Clark Davis and "Run Away" by Markus Schwarz. Heavy!
