After three outstanding 180 minutes nights with Mathew Janson, VRIL., and Out Of Place Artefacts in 2022 and another one in August 2023 with Multiples, we are now looking forward to the fifth edition on Thursday, September 21. The concept is quite simple. With an early entry at 7 pm, the first hour is reserved for a thriving artist who will warm up for the headliners. The main act then plays live for 180 minutes, followed by a cool-down set by the support act.

DASHA RUSH

Dasha Rush started her career as a DJ and producer in the 90s and has been transforming the powerful forces of nature into emotion-driven sound pieces since then. Whether it’s her curiosity for astrophysics, fascination with extreme natural phenomena, or the deepest desires of the human psyche – Dasha threads together her wildest dreams consisting of multi-layered dense techno, visual explorations, audiovisual journeys, and performative art. The Berlin-based producer, experimental sound artist, and DJ is known for her collaborative and experimental projects performed at today’s most forward-looking playgrounds for music and digital culture. She plays at festivals like Montreal’s Mutek, Ars Electronica in Linz, L.E.V. Festival in Gijón, MIRA in Barcelona, TodaysArt in the Hague, Tokyo’s Resonanz, Open Source Festival in Sopot, O Musica Danza Arte Terme di Diocleziano in Rome, Berlin Atonal, and CTM and is a regular behind the decks at clubs like Tresor, Berghain, Fabric, De School and many more.

KANGDING RAY

From his early releases on the legendary German imprint Raster-Noton to his more recent, club-geared output David Letellier alias Kangding Ray traces a singular trajectory while navigating the unexplored territories between experimental and dance music. As a former architect, Kangding Ray’s multidisciplinary approach allows him to apply his craft in diverse fields such as visual arts, film scores, audiovisual installations and dance performances. In both his DJing and live performances, Kangding Ray preserves a genuine artistic approach while carefully crafting a unique universe, equally focused on evoking an emotional response and a visceral impact on the listener.

SUPPORT DJ: RACHEL LYN

Rachel Lyn is a multidisciplinary artist of sonic excavations and empirical aurality and will play the warm-up and the cool-down set of the night. The Berlin-based producer, curator and selector constructs polysensory narratives of sound and story under the arcs of Rachel Lyn, Modular Gang, and 3Ddancer, and unfolds stories of spoken word and sonic memory, within original productions that trace her experiences from a farm in the Australian countryside through the eclectic clubs of Berlin and beyond.
