zum august-weekender haben wir uns dj sprinkles, die schon lange auf unserer wunschliste steht, aus japan eingeladen. dj sprinkles aka terre thaemlitz ist betreiberin des labels comatonse, multimedial agierende politische aktivistin, künstlerin und verdammt gute house-dj. mit ihrem album midtown 120 blues hat sie eine zeitlose ode an die politischen wurzeln von house music verfasst – wir freuen uns sehr auf ihr garten-set!
auch der techno-floor in der samstagnacht hat es in sich: seit einiger zeit begeistert christian wünsch mit zahlreichen cutting egde technotracks und auch seine eigenen labels tsunami und nine records stehen für hochkarätige releases. umso mehr freuen uns ihn samstagnacht live auf dem techno-floor vorstellen zu können und haben ihm tresor resident reka zur seite gestellt, die ebenso wie ifz homie fr jpla für kompromisslosen aber vielfältigen techno bekannt ist.
die lobby wird unter anderem von koehler bespielt, der sich stilistisch breit aufgestellt zwischen jungle breaks, techno und heavy basslines bewegt und bereits auf labels wie skudge und créme organization releast hat.

for the august-weekender we invited dj sprinkles from japan, who's been on our wish-list for ages. dj sprinkles aka terre thaemlitz runs the label comatonse, is a multi-media political activist, artist, and a damn good dj. her album midtown 120 blues is a timeless ode to the political roots of house music - we are really looking forward to her garden set!
the techno floor on saturday night is also outstanding: christian wünsch has been turning heads with his various cutting edge techno tracks for a while now, and his labels tsunami records and nine records stand for top-class releases as well. all the more reason to be excited to present him on the techno floor together with tresor resident reka, who is known for her no-holds-barred-techno, as is ifz homie fr jpla.
the lobby will see koehler, whos style is broadly based between jungle breaks, techno and heavy basslines and who has released records on labels such as skudge and créme organization.
