Curses is a Berlin-based artist blending New Wave and Post-Punk with dark electronic club music, pairing ghostly vocals and live guitars with flashes of ’80s EBM and New Beat. His debut album Romantic Fiction, released on Jennifer Cardini’s Dischi Autunno, introduced a live show that brings the record’s moody energy to the stage as a duo. Alongside releases on labels such as Hoga Nord, Bordello A Parigi and Throne Of Blood—and through his own imprint Ombra International—Curses continues to explore the darker edges of club music. On Friday, April 17th, we host Self.Control. on the SUMME floor as they invite Curses, Ivan Iacobucci b2b Stella Fiore and Galleria Europa for this edition.
