Rena Volvo is a Berlin-based DJ and record collector with Sardinian roots.
Her sets are an eclectic and playful mix of warm, energetic disco and
timeless synth gems from around the world. As one quarter of Berlin's
Automaticamore crew, her heart probably beats fastest for Italo Disco that
whisks you back to the Rimini of 1983. She forms the vivid duo Liquid Sky
alongside Hara Katsiki, embarking on a journey that explores all spheres of
the synth galaxy, pushing the boundaries of sound and creativity. Volvo's
passion for the unknown and obscure may also hold a few sneaky treats you’d be wise to stay curious about.
Hank Clap founder and Co-Host of Berlin's Automaticamore! Disco Nights,
Hank Clap has a long history of romanticizing Italian discotecas and the
lifestyle of the Italo Era. As a dedicated Italo and Synth Head, his sets and
mixes celebrate the melancholic, overly dramatic, and cheesy aspects of Italo Disco.
After 15 years experience as event hoster, vocalist and DJ, Berlin based
Desolate Discotheque established himself more and more in the European
Techno-EBM-Wave scene. Succeeding debuts in Paris and Athens, he also
brought the heat to Tbilisi, Tunis, Ukraine and so on.
Back in 2019, he fulfilled a personal dream by starting his own independent
vinyl and cassette label, Crave Tapes. With the label he created a platform for new as well as already known artists from all over the world.
The inspiration he draws from 80's underground electronic music and the
goth culture, is manifested in his exorbitant, authentic and excessive style - a
wild mixture between EBM, New Beat, Synthwave, Post-Punk and some
Techno.

von mai bis september öffnet das ://about blank am ostkreuz in friedrichshain seinen wunderschönen clubgarten, in der regel von dienstag bis freitag ab 16:00 uhr sowie ab und zu auch sonntags ab 14:00 uhr. der ://sektgarten verspricht entspannte sommerabende bei sekt, saft, pizza und snacks unter wogenden essigbäumen. dazu entspannte musik, aber auch viele ruhige ecken. der ://sektgarten lädt ein zum tischtennis oder kicker spielen, zum füße in die badewannen stecken oder in den abendhimmel schauen. oder einfach ungestört mit freund*innen über dies, das oder ananas zu plaudern. der eintritt ist frei und es gibt ein regenfestes zelt falls es mal schauert. kinder sind willkommen, wenn ihre bezugspersonen ein auge auf sie haben. hunde müssen durchgehend angeleint sein. es gibt platz genug für geburtstagsgruppen, polittreffen, ehemaligenstammtische. was auch immer der sommer bringt – wir sehen uns im ://sektgarten!
