After the booty house madness with DJ FUNK we're going in for another round of Chi-town madeness.
After having brought DJ Spinn and DJ Rashad numerous times to Berlin since 2011 we couldn't think of starting a new night without hosting another Teklife flavored meltdown, so naturally Spinn was the first we called up and: here he is. Oil your L-fingers and tie the sneakers very tightly.
He will be joined SYNKRO (also know as one half of AKKORD on Houndstooth Records) - his recent debut on R&S Records is a fine blend between garage and more ambient leaned sounds, but his DJ sets bring the bass-heavy sound of Manchester to the dancefloor, a city that we like as much as Chicago.
Drop The Lime doesn't really need an introduction in Berlin, but we'll give you one nonetheless. Infamous from his breakcore years, he went on to kick-start the now legendary Trouble & Bass label and party series in NY, who pioneered a sound somewhere between Dubstep, Bassline and hyperactive Rave, only to become a REAL BIG DEAL in clubbier sounds as Curses. He's back in Berlin and he'll be playing something he hasn't done in ages - a full on Drop the Lime throwback set!
This night is as usual hosted by Marius Reisser, Puzzle and Discipline (who else?).
HYPER REAL is the semi-regular new old club night brought to you by the crew behind the infamous DENSEHALL and BODYWERK nights - for all of those who want to dance to another beat.
