Midnight Shift presents its first label showcase in Germany's capital city - live on BE-AT.TV. Presenting both present and upcoming artists: John Heckle, Tapirus (Live), Prequel Tapes, label founders Lily’s Rose, with a bumper line-up capped off by French legend, The Hacker.

From his roots in the hardcore techno scene, Michel Amato aka The Hacker, quickly went on to receive international acclaim as his music began to breakdown the walls between Techno and Electro.

Discovered by DJ Hell and working with Miss Kittin, The Hacker was responsible for several tracks on ’International Deejays Gigolos’, including the massive hits 'Frank Sinatra” and '1982', contributing to an entirely new musical movement. Driven by a pop nostalgia for New Order and The Cure influences, The Hacker constructs based on synthesized sounds, new wave, and hints of electro heiress Kraftwerk and Detroit.

Four studio albums and countless EPs later, it is now impossible to discuss French electronic music without The Hacker.
