For the second event of 2016, White Nights is pleased to feature one of house music’s most interesting artists, DJ Sprinkles. The deep house DJ persona of Terre Thaemlitz has been an influential figure in the house music scene since the early 90s. Her groundbreaking album 'Midtown 120 Blues' won Resident Advisor’s 'Best Album of 2009' and currently sits at number 19 on Discogs’ list of highest rated albums. In his own words, “Sprinkles is unconcerned with mass appeal, and focuses on sniper-sets aimed at a long gone generation of angry and depressed queer HIV/AIDS activists unafraid to cry on the dancefloor.” A tongue-in-cheek reference to her immaculate integrity and defiance as an artist, and the subversive nature of his dancefloor orientated music.

Joining Sprinkles this March will be Arnaldo and Sabine Hoffmann, both of whom have been turning heads in the electronic music scene recently.

Arnaldo has received high praise following a string of solid releases on much loved imprints such as Smallville and Aim and for his vibrant DJ sets in Berlin and London which have been some of the most well reviewed and well crafted of recent years. Whilst Sabine Hoffmann is currently making big strides in Berlin. Her event 'Frauengedeck' is famed for its all female lineups and commitment to vinyl only mixing. The party is always a treat.

Doors for White Nights open at midnight and the entrance fee is ten Euros. We recommend arriving as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
