We are back at Arena Club to celebrate our first Stützpunkt anniversary together with you. For this special occasion we put a lineup together whose diversity in musical style excites us very much and will most definitely make this night matchless.

BENJAMIN DAMAGE (50 Weapons / Ten Thousand Yen, Berlin)

For this edition Benjamin Damage is playing a DJ set for us. The UK producer became a key part of Modeselektor’s 50 Weapons imprint back in 2010. It was a partnership which spanned half a decade, ending only alongside the closure of the label late last year. As the first artist (outside of Modeselektor) to release on the label it was apt that his album “Obsidian” was also the last one on 50 Weapons. His 2013 debut solo album “Heliosphere” featured “010x”, described by Marcel Dettmann as the ‘track of the summer’ and given the remix treatment from Robert Hood, Truncate and SCNTST.
His style is unique, as he mixes classic 4/4 with breakbeat rhythms while creating ravy lead synths which show influences from all over the musical spectrum.

RANDOMER (Clone / Hemlock / L.I.E.S, London)

Coming over from North London is Randomer. In his six year career he has had releases on labels such as Hemlock, L.I.E.S and many more. As a producer and also as DJ he is capable of connecting techno with other electronic genres like bass. His idea of techno isn’t limited to classic 4/4 beats but also features a lot of breakbeat and other unorthodox elements. His track „Bring“ which was released back in 2013 has been played in clubs and festivals everywhere.
His peerless productions and DJ sets have given him the opportunity to tour all over the world and showcase his skills in front of small club audiences as well as huge festival crowds. We are very excited for what he will show us this time.

I/Y (Moments / Fracture, Berlin)

Yacoub and Irakli, better known as I/Y will play one of their powerful DJ sets for us, taking you into a different musical direction and showcasing the diversity of techno music. They met in Berlin at the beginning of this millennium and have ever since shaped the techno scene - with their infamous „Staub“ party but also with releases on labels such as 47 or Fracture. With the curation of their eponymous creative platform, they have been releasing works from friends, similar minded artists, and aliens.
Their talent, production wise and on the turntables have enabled the boys to play at venues all over Europe. We are most excited about I/Y being with us on this night, in their home base Berlin.

STAÍM (Stützpunkt, Berlin)

For the closing our resident Staím will be back on the decks. He has been there ever since we started as „Stützpunkt Techno“ back in 2013. After dropping the „Techno“ and bringing the idea into the club his love and passion for the project hasn’t gotten any weaker.
He has developed his music taste early on and has found his style in direct and hard, percussion-driven techno - we call it „Brecher Techno“. Next to him performing DJ-Sets, Staím has also started producing his own tracks in 2015. He stayed true to his style which made him a valuable asset for many parties, as you can be sure of strong energy on the dancefloor when Staím starts to play.

DIAL TONE (Berlin)

Completing the lineup is the Berlin duo dial tone. Caspar and Laurens have started making music together last year in 2015 when they saw their similar taste in techno music. One coming from the DJ-side and the other from the producing-side of this genre they learn from and complement each other perfectly. Caspar has previously played a house set solo at one of our Stützpunkt parties on the upstairs floor. You can see the influence of melodic and groovy house in their understanding of techno music which gives their sets its very own atmosphere. We are very happy to have them with us this time and are looking forward to what they have in store for all of us.

Be sure to join us for our first anniversary party. Thank you for your support this past year, may it go on for many more anniversaries to come. We are ready.
