For a very special edition of Absurd Lustre, Sam Shackleton (Woe To The Septic Heart! / Skull Disco) will debut his ambient, meditative and drone-based project: Purge Of Tomorrow.


Secondly, founder of the Future Primitive label, Milo Bragg, travels from London to present an outtake of his conceptually-minded mix series, Club Rooted, with warm up duties, atmospheres and support from Sa Pa.

Absurd Lustre is the search for a trans-continental exotica where deeper listening, sound poetry and genre experimentation can take place.


Delving into a cocktail effect of environmental sound art, non-music and other freeform rhythms; ambient storytelling, dub and percussion theory help anchor the listener into a nebulous realm of spatio-temporal immersion.


Embracing notions of clubbing modernity, ephemeral landscapes and the sonic phenomena of field recordings, Absurd Lustre is a place to sink, swim and hide in the atmospheric delights of a world unknown.
