KataHaifisch wurde 2015 als Podcastreihe auf SoundCloud ins Leben gerufen und entwickelte sich schnell zu einer wichtigen Anlaufstelle für Newcomer sowie etablierte Artists der elektronischen Musik aus aller Welt. Auf Grundlage jahrelanger Erfahrung in Musik und Szene wurde KataHaifisch 2020 um ein eigenes Recordlabel erweitert. Seitdem erscheinen regelmäßig treibende Releases im Down- und Midtempo-Bereich, die sowohl atmosphärisch als auch cluborientiert geprägt sind.

Parallel dazu ist die KataHaifisch Crew auch als Veranstalter aktiv und kuratiert seit 2016 regelmäßig Events, vorwiegend in Hildesheim und Hannover, darüber hinaus auch international, unter anderem mehrfach in Wien.

Musikalisch deckt KataHaifisch ein diverses Spektrum ab, mit besonderem Fokus auf melodischen Downtempo und bouncigen Midtempo. Im Zentrum der Sets und Songs stehen dabei stets die Freude an der Musik, kreative Vielfalt und die Offenheit der elektronischen Musikszene.

KataHaifisch was founded in 2015 as a podcast series on SoundCloud and quickly developed into an important platform for both newcomers and established electronic music artists from around the world. Building on years of experience within music and club culture, KataHaifisch expanded into its own record label in 2020. Since then, it has been releasing driving down- and midtempo tracks that balance atmospheric depth with club-focused energy.

Alongside the label, the KataHaifisch crew has been active as event organizers since 2016, regularly curating parties mainly in Hildesheim and Hanover, as well as internationally, including multiple events in Vienna.

Musically, KataHaifisch covers a diverse spectrum with a strong focus on melodic downtempo and bouncy midtempo. At the heart of its sets and releases are a shared love for music, creative diversity, and an open-minded electronic music scene.
