Tronik Youth (NEIN / La Dame Noir, London)
Tronik Youth aka Neil Parnell from the U.K has been making music for over ten years, as a producer/remixer and dj, he has released and remixed over 85 records and numerous edits since he entered the studio. Growing up in the nineteen eighties he collected electronic records from an early age and the next step to becoming a DJ was an obvious one for him, he has since spun records at clubs all over the world.
On the flipside of things he runs Nein Records which has a roster of artists including Daniele Baldelli, Heretic, The Emperor Machine and Rodion amongst many others This year has seen him release his Debut Lp ‘Youth Is Wasted on the Young’ to great acclaim.
We are looking forward to have Tronik Youth have us undergo the chugging thickness of the bullet-time beatdown he punishes his crowds with. So eat your fruits, blend your veggies and chew your TOFU to survive this in one piece!!!
Pink Skull ( Beachcoma / Throne of Blood)
Pink Skull is a fluctuating composition of different protagnoists moprhing between a 5 piece band, that had their major output a couple years into the new millenium, and a studio duo comprising of Julian Grefe and Justin Geller. Their works have featured the likes of big shots like folk singer Mirah or Wu Tang's Ghostface Killah. Throughout the course of time the duo gained more momentum as the band was stuck in between the expectations of live audiences and the more dancey crowds in the clubs. Focusing more on the dancefloor these two gentlemen have had a strong output of quality music on labels like Days of Being Wild, Throne of Blood, My Favorite Robot or Clouded Vision and to be more specific check out the fantastic release by Tony G on their very own label imprint "Infinite Juju" featuring remixes by Young Marco and the label chefs themselves. Speaking of remixes, Pink Skull has put their spin on the likes of Toro Y Moi, Bear in Heaven and many more.
Tonight Julian Grefe will be paying us a visit to represent the Pink Skull and we will him do whatever the hell he wants and are excited to see what comes of it. So let us skull some beers and keep it TOFU with the homies.
