Where does one start with this guy? Born and raised in Chicago, Zernell started DJing at the age of 14 back when many of us had not even been born yet - we are talking mid 80ies. The vibe was Disco and House music (we would consider it Old-School today) and this still influences his selection to date. Putting his spin on some of the rarest disco tracks out there and editing gems is his mantra as a producer - paired with a knowladgeable and everchanging selection of records during his DJ sets - Zernell is one of the most compelling selectors to this date. If you love Chicago House and Classic Disco presented by a dude who has lived this shit since Day One - Mr. Grimy Edits is your man!
