Winter is in full swing in Berlin, and volume 6 of House of Others is here to warm our bodies and get us moving close to one another. This is an invitation to those who have ever felt out of place and found a home on the dance floor. Because the dance floor can also be a place of care.
On this occasion, we are joined by two guest DJs as we come together to celebrate house music as joy, memory, and movement. A night where the dancefloor becomes a shared space for connection, warmth, and collective pleasure.
Shadysnack channels her love for House and Disco into soulful, joy-filled sets rooted in their African American origins. Blending warmth, groove, and emotional depth, her selections radiate care, celebration, and connection; a reminder of house music as a loving embrace and a shared source of joy.
Kubin traces his journey back to a late-90s cassette discovery that sparked a lifelong relationship with electronic music. From electro, EBM and 80s obsessions to a renewed love for 90s House, his vinyl-only sets move across Chicago House, acid, proto-house, hi-NRG, electro and early techno.
