El Mago ties between two identities as greek and german. Being born into a greek family with active musical surroundings his upbringings are deeply rooted in the traditional music of Greece like Rebetiko and old traditional polyrhythms as well as multi-vocal arrangements like “Epirotika”. Now for the first time El Mago is gathering his instruments materials and forming it into a live set, working on manifesting this sonic venture not only on WAV and WAX, but also on stage. Depending on the scale of the event, El Mago plays either alone or invites his friends and colleagues to join him on stage. This is where the Crossover of Genres really shines – Trap meeting Rebetiko meeting African Percussion meeting experimental dance.

The journey is provoking your electronic existence, crashing with the frontier of your cosmic perception, interweaving the known with the unknown.
