Ganz nach dem Motto RAVING LEBANON laden wir euch ein mit uns zu feiern, um Geld für unser Hilfsprojekt für das Camp 009 in der Bekaa Ebene im Libanon zu sammeln. Die DJ-Gagen und Erträge aus der Spendenbox, die wir auf der Ausstellung & Party aufstellen, fließen dabei direkt in das Projekt "Camp 009" (Help for Syrian Refugees in Lebanon)

Von 20.00 – 22.00 Uhr werden Fotos von Ina Felina http://www.inafelina.de/ ausgestellt, welche sie bei einem Besuch von drei Refugee-Camps in der libanesischen Bekaa Ebene während ihrer zweiten Libanon-Reise aufgenommen hat. Für die musikalische Untermalung sorgt Ayşe Pervers mit traditioneller arabischer Musik
Ab 22.00 Uhr sorgen dann Yves Taubert, Ethen, sowie Wardita für den passenden Sound.

Seit im Jahr 2011 in Syrien der Krieg ausbrach sind mehrere Millionen Menschen aus dem Land geflohen. Viele haben es versucht unter schwierigsten Umständen nach Europa zu gelangen. Manche haben es geschafft, wiederum andere kamen kaum weiter als bis in eines der Nachbarländer. So auch die etwa drei Millionen syrischen Flüchtlinge, die sich nun im Libanon aufhalten. Ein Großteil von ihnen lebt unter menschenunwürdigen Bedingungen in Zeltlagern in der Bekaa Ebene, die sich im Nordosten des Landes nahe der syrischen Grenze erstreckt. Da die Grenzen nicht mehr passierbar sind und die Situation in ihrer Heimat eine Rückkehr undenkbar macht, gibt es für die dortigen Syrer weder vor noch zurück.
Bei unserem vorletzten Besuch im Libanon mussten wir feststellen, dass es den Menschen in der Bekaa Ebene an allem fehlt und sie kaum Unterstützung erhalten. Auf die Frage, was sie am meisten benötigten, teilten uns die Geflüchteten mit, dass es besonders an Baby- und Kinderklamotten vor allem Schuhen fehle. Wir beschlossen daher den dortigen Syrern zumindest mit dem Nötigsten zu helfen und sie durch verschiedene Projekte hier in Berlin zu unterstützen. Bei unserer letzten Libanon-Reise im August diesen Jahres brachten wir bereits lokal gesammelte Kleiderspenden zum Camp 009 und verteilten diese dort. Wir versuchten auch bereits einen Container mit gesammelten Klamotten und Kinderfahrrädern aus Deutschland für die vielen Babys und Kinder in den Refugee-Camps der Bekaa Ebene mitzubringen, was allerdings aufgrund der viel zu hohen Zollgebühren nicht funktionierte. Nun haben wir Helfer im Libanon, welche uns tatkräftig mit dem sammeln von erst einmal vor allem Schuhen unterstützen wollen. Diese werden wir dann bei unserer nächsten Reise im Februar 2019 dort verteilen. Unser Ziel für unseren nächsten Aufenthalt im Libanon ist es, das Camp 009 einmal komplett mit Schuhen auszustatten.
Des weiteren sind andere Projekte für die Zukunft geplant, um auch langfristig den Menschen helfen zu können. Durch unsere Veranstaltungen möchten wir unser Projekt weiterhin finanzieren, denn die Menschen im Camp 009 warten auf uns.

The fees for the Djs and the earnings from the donation box that we are going to put up at the party are going directly to the project 'Camp 009' (Help for Syrian Refugees in Lebanon)

Since war broke out in Syria in 2011 several million people have fled the country. Many have tried to reach Europe under the most difficult conditions. Some have managed, others have not gotten any further than to one of the neighbouring countries. Among these people are about three million Syrian refugees stuck in Lebanon. The majority of them is living under inhumane conditions in camps in the Bekaa Valley, a region located in the north-east of the country near the Syrian border. As crossing the borders to another country is no longer an option and returning to their home country is simply impossible due to the on-going war in Syria, the refugees living in Bekaa Valley can go neither forward nor back.
During our penultimate visit in Lebanon we realised that the people in Bekaa Valley are lacking basically everything and that they are receiving hardly any support. When being asked what it was that they needed most, the refugees told us that there is a special need for clothes for babies and children. Therefore, we decided to help the local Syrians with at least the most basic goods and to support them through various projects here in Berlin. On our last Lebanon trip in August this year, we already brought locally collected clothing donations to camp 009 and distributed them there. We also tried to bring a container with collected clothes and children's bicycles from Germany for the many babies and children in the refugee camps, which did not work for the customs fees exceeding our budget by far. Now we have helpers in Lebanon, who want to support us actively with collecting first of all, especially children's shoes and also shoes for adults. We want to distribute this on our next trip there, in February 2019.
Other projects are planned in order to be able to help these people in the long term. Through our events we want to continue financing our project.
