Possible Futures is thrilled to present “The Hot Run”, a summer outing to Else - the feverish Treptow terrace.
As customary for the Aquarian Shift series, our program keeps in mind the intrepid dancer. Following the time, phases and moods of the 16 hours of dancefloor possibilities, “The Hot Run” presents the selections and shows of artists from across the electronic music beam.
Possible Futures believe that the eternal act of dancing is one of the most active form of contemplation. They open the terrace, laying down emotional grounds for this extended train ride. Swiss lady Sassy J picks up, spreading the graceful musical movements and eclecticism she delights with.
New Yorker pianist and producer Eric Maltz presents his new single featuring Cristina Valentina, releasing on Possible Futures’ label and following essential EP’s on Levon Vincent’s Novel Sound and his own Flower Myth imprint. Expect irresistible house chords with an agility rarely experienced before.
Peninsulan producers Marvin & Guy attach their own wagon of grimy disco and irresistible edits to the line. Whatever piece of collection House wax Tom Trago pulls out of his bag (or cat, out of the Rush Hour’s permanent fixture many hats) pushes the throttle to its tip and derails the train off the terrace…
...into the hut of many wonders, where Kassem Mosse, the Ominira wizard, entrances and enchants. London based NTS radio host Elena Colombi lays her fine thumping grit down one of the last Sunday nights of this sizzling summer, while Australian selector Matthew Moopie makes a rare Berlin appearance for the great, hot, finale.
