It’s been almost 4 years since a group of music enthusiasts came together to form Avoid The Subject, an event and soon to be label crew. Their joint passion for music brought Andy, Denny, Johannes and Eugen together. Sharing insights into their record collections seems like an encyclopedic journey through electronic music.

As residents of their regular events at MS Zufriedenheit in Würzburg, Denny (Voltage), Yosh (Yosh Ryna), Eugen (Genja) and Johannes aka Spin (Dynamics) proof regularly that the roots of the Avoid The Subject crew lays in Techno. The diversified interest in all sorts of electronic music has always been a great pleasure, too. Thus those aficionados love it when they can dig deep into their collections and perform versatile DJ Sets through genres like nicely selected Electronica, Dub Techno, Leftfield House, Jungle, Detroit rooted Electro and Funk as well as deep experimental stuff mixed with some good old legacy House that never grows old.
