THE DETROIT SOCIAL CLUB is a collective of these four musicians putting together influences from the Detroit club music scene as well as Jazz, Rock and Soul music in a way that reflects their respective activities in the Berlin music world, by way of openness to experiment and improvisation as musical key principles.

Paul Randolph is a Detroit based internationally recognizable artist, vocalist, bassist, producer, composer, and songwriter.

Kelvin Sholar is a critically acclaimed musician activist, educator, and model associated with names like Stevie Wonder, Louis Vuitton, Carl Craig and Rosa Parks.

Christoph Bernewitz is a Berlin based guitarist and composer, known best through his work with singer/songwriter Clueso, The Christoph Bernewitz Jazz Trio as well as his most recent work with Berlin experimental group TAPES.

Jan Burkamp is a Berlin based drummer and songwriter working with Blue Man Group, Sonar Kollektiv acts Jazzanova and Micatone and many other artists.
