Loophole - Melihsub & friends (Life sucks, so come here Afterparty)

Melihsub
Melihsub & Friends have created a post-apocalyptic spatial experience with their atmospheric installation. Slippery, orange-colored streaks seem to drip down from above like slime. The music itself sounds like black drops of cosmos.

Melihsub plays the rhythms of \"Enter the New World\" live. These are complex and unpredictable. Broken beats, polyrhythmic patterns and unconventional time signatures create a hypnotic yet unsettling effect. The structure of the pieces is non-linear and leaves room for improvisation and moments of surprise. The sounds are reminiscent of space travel, of landing on foreign planets, of unexplored territory.

This multi-sensory installation conveys a sense of threat and the unknown, typical of post-apocalyptic scenarios. The darkness, the eerie sounds and the sparsely lit elements immerse the viewer in a post-apocalyptic world. The uncertainty as to what is hidden in the darkness reinforces the apocalyptic mood.
