Unfortunately the S3 from Ostkreuz is not available this weekend, so here are the two easiest ways for you to get to Wuhlheide:
#1 Take the rail replacement bus S3 from Ostkreuz and get off at „Freizeit und Erholungszentrum“. This takes you a little bit less than 20 minutes. From there it’s a 10 minutes walk.
#2 Take the S8 from Ostkreuz to Schöneweide. Get off there and take the tram 60 to „Ostendstraße“. The S-Bahn ride is 10 minutes, tram is 7 minutes. It’s a 10 minutes walk from here, too.
From there on, just follow the white „#“ on the ground into the forest.

We are finally coming to terms with the seasonal changes and are ready to make use of the crazy amount of sunshine that’s been graced upon us. Go green with us this weekend as we annex a lovely leafy spot, tucked away in the depths of East Berlin.
