Starting this march, Altered Soul Experiment will bring his warmth and musical aesthetic to OHM Berlin for a series of events spaced out over 2016 and beyond. For each night, one selected artist will be able to demonstrate their ability to purely express their influences, mood, thoughts and words into the intimate surrounds of the 200 capacity venue.

The series starts with veteran selector and well-respected italian record collector Volcov.

Volcov's range of influences finds its roots in the late 80’s, began to collect and play hip hop. What followed after was an slight-delve into house and detroit techno, where he digged into the drum 'n' bass, broken-beat scene simulataneous. In 1997, he founded the Italian drum 'n' bass label Sonica, followed by Neroli Productions in 2001. Individually, he has also produced on labels like Sonar Kollektiv, Still Music and Especial. His disco/soul/funk edits brought him the support of magnitudes like Sadar Bahar and Theo Parrish.
