For our 10th anniversary we are going back the ROOTS!
In January 2013 we discovered a club yet to be opened at the edge of Friedrichshain and deemed it perfect for a queer party.The club was called Kosmonaut and the party was MEMBERS.
Since then we are rooting for that particular MEMBERS sound that’s always bringing together a uniquely diverse crowd that’s been dancing away the night to a high-profile booking with the likes of Ellen Allien, Monika Kruse, Woody, Sven VT, Sascha Dive etc.
After embarking to Hoppetosse and after many great nights disembarking to Æden and it’s predecessor and exporting MEMBERS to London, Tel Aviv and Paris we are going back to the roots to exactly the club we started at, now called OXI.
This calls for the most amazing night and a line-up that shows just that: DJ-legend TOBI NEUMANN, KINGSIZEBED from Milan, introducing PENCILBREAKER and our residents MARC MIROIR and HGR who have been shaping our continuously high quality of music.
MEMBERS has always been queer and inclusive of all gender identities even though catering predominantly to an as male identifying crowd and also bodypositive and sexpositive before the words have even come into wider use.
