Of course the end of the classic disco era was nothing to applaud, but on the other hand it caused an explosion that left many wonderful musical pieces that were subsequently assembled in very different spots, by the most interesting creative people you could think of for the task.

This night will be a tribute to arguably one of the most interesting transitional periods in club culture history, which gave us Post Punk, Boogie, Hip Hop, Electro, the golden pop year of 82 and so much more, released on labels like ZE, Factory, Prelude, Celluloid and so many more, played at clubs like the Paradise Garage, Danceteria, Area, Mudd Club, Hacienda, Roxy, Les Bains Douches and so many more, played by DJs like Larry Levan, Mark Kamins, Justin Strauss, Afrika Bambaataa, Anita Sarko, Tee Scott and, you guessed it, so many more.

So if you like your disco mutated, and/or boogietastic and/or dubby, your punk funky (and your funk punky), your house prototypical, you like to pop your body and take care of your hair, here are some musical shoulder pads to lean on.

Finn will be joined by Ludwig Mausberg, whom he spotted shouting to the right tunes on the floor of Hamburg's Pudel club and then investigated as being a top young boy and hot DJ and producer property. Catch him now before it gets too complicated, and let's blame it on (power) disco!
