Back when I was doing DOWN in NYC some ten years ago, originally I was playing them all by myself and thought to myself "self, maybe you should start getting some of your friends that you know have fantastic taste in music and have them join you on this little midweek adventure sometime." One of those first guests that I ever had was a tall human by the name of Jon Schmidt. We'd been friends for a while, and one day when I was at his place perusing his record collection not only did he play for me a heaps of things I had never heard before but he was one slick beast on the mix, and thusly he came to play once (maybe twice?) for me.

Then I moved to Berlin and discovered another friend, Jason Fellows, a crucial member of the Sublimate crew from NYC, known for their heads-down approach to house music, had similar vibes and equal skills in the house music department, and when I was contemplating relaunching my monthly in Berlin at Paloma I pinged these two to play for me some months ago. Though its taken a few months to figure out the scheduling, I'm super happy to have these two take over for me in November as I need a little break from my own event, especially after October's Halloween Birthday Party for Me Nine Hour Bonanza. I will, however, be there to play super host, as well as make sure my two guests have thoroughly lubricated livers by the night's close. :-D

As per usual we're starting at 21h (9p) for people with jobs, or for those who still ride their bikes and need to thaw out halfway home with a tasty cocktail and a room warmed by choice music and swaying bodies.
