The Berlin & Mainz based non-binary label Arcane Patterns celebrates the beginning of 2020 with an early mid of the week nighter filled with heart warming uk bass apocalypse with Berlins finest dubstep ambassadors.

DJ SAIMAN
Saiman is a central figure of Berlins dubstep scene. His bassheavy dj sets are always filled with original dubplates that he cuts often before his gigs. He is a resident DJ at Impulse Berlin hosting regular Dubstep / Bassmusic sessions since September 2010, and involved in the annual Tief Frequenz Festival, a regular meet up of German Bass musicians.
CATE HOPS
Cate Hops is a DJ, radio host, curator and visual anthropologist. Her ideas circulate around the concept of space as a social practice. In Berlin she organizes events focussing on experimental electronic (live) music.Trying to break the boundaries between dub and techno scenes she organized "Sound System Culture: On the Radical Roots of Rave" and co-hosts Meetup Berlin, a regular event for women, trans* and non-binary people in electronic music.
CRΞSC
CRΞSC is a producer, dj, co-founder of Arcane Patterns and one half of aphtc, a collaboration project with Kl.ne. While his sparse solo productions combine the sonic grammar of early dubstep and futuristic drum & bass, his dj sets are located at the intersection of uk bassmusic and leftfield techno.
KL.NE
Kl.ne is a producer, musician dj, poet, and resident at Noods Radio. While his bassheavy solo productions entail dialectic moods between hyperreal subbass, erotic minor seconds, his dj sets range from early uk dubstep to recent 130 bass creating sonic fictions of pure polyrhythmic dancefloor pleasure. With his duo aphtc he released the 12‶ ″When Grounds Shift‶ which "meticulously executes the modern UK Techno/Bass sound design with clean tensity and dread".

Arcane Patterns is the vinyl label of Kl.ne & CRΞSC dedicated to non-binary 130 breakbeats & sonic fiction. It just released aphtcs second 12" "Rewind The Subject", organizes regular parties in Berlins finest underground locations and seeks for empowerment through sound.
