Plötze is happy to invite you to the first edition of our in-house event series. For this very special edition, we would like to take you back with us on a sound exploration journey to the very heart of the electronic music scene. The line-up is formed by a range of artists that we believe, have influenced and formed the international, as well as the local berlin music scene in their own unique way.
Moritz von Oswald began his musical career as a percussionist in the 1980s, after which he moved to Berlin and became an in-house producer for the Tresor Record label. In 1993 he founded the label and live-act “Basic Channel”, which is still perceived as one of the most influential labels that has shaped the techno scene of Berlin in the 1990s.
The Dominican Paul st Hilaire aka Tikiman started collaborating with von Oswald and Fehlmann as a vocalist for their project Rythm and Sound in the mid 1990s. He incorporated his background of reggae and dub into electronic music, shaping the foundation of the local dub techno scene. He was joined later by the Canadian producer Deadbeat and forms a live duo that explores the boundaries of contemporary dub influenced electronic music.
The program is complemented by the hypnotic house sound of DJ Dustin, one of the co-founders of Giegling. Add the Berlin based French artist rRoxymore with her unique sound and you have the recipe for a one of a kind beach experience.

General information
● The local government has restricted us in our sound-levels during the events. Due to an ad-hoc late notice, we are forced to lower our sound-levels after 20:00. We have adjusted our opening hours and musical program to ensure a high quality sonic experience during peak hours, so make sure you come on time.
● We will have a separate entrance from Plötzensee’s regular entrance. Follow the coordinates: 52°32\'44.5\"N 13°19\'36.8”E
● Be aware that Plötze is located inside a public bathing area that is also visited by families. The party site is in a private separated fenced area, but some spots are still visible from the public bathing area and other bathing guests. We expect our guests to respect this.
● Respect the neighbors and nature when entering and leaving the area. There will be a designed changing area for guests to change/undress indoors.
● Bathing allowed till 20:00. Be aware of yourself and others and avoid swimming if you are intoxicated.
● Respect other people’s privacy and refrain from taking pictures at our events.
COVID Regulations
● At the entrance provide proof of full vaccination [14 days after the second shot] or a COVID test taken on the same day [Sunday]. To facilitate it for those who are not fully vaccinated, we will have a mobile testing facility in front of the location. Furthermore, for safety reasons, we need to document everyone’s attendance - so please, download the Luca app and check in upon arrival.
● Bring your face-mask. You will be required to use your mask on the dance floor and at the bars, queues and bathrooms. The mask should be used both to cover the mouth and the nose. You can take your mask off while sitting, bathing and if social distancing is possible.
● Please, keep 1,5m distance from other guests whenever possible.
● If you are feeling unwell, please, protect staff and other visitors by staying home. You can resell already purchased tickets via Resident Advisor.
