In Paris, for nearly 8 years now, Mona shares every month its passion for dance, house music and positive energy. Linking old and new generations alike, the party is a reunion of the underground dance and clubbing worlds of New York, Detroit, Chicago, Berlin and of course, Paris.
Bringing realness, extravagance and keeping it fierce, Mona showcases Vogue & Waack balls and offers free dance classes to its crowd at the beginning of each night. Founded by Nick V in 2008, Mona has since regularly hosted the best in soulful and original artists such as Mike Huckaby, Terrence Parker, Karizma, Honey Dijon, Jeremy Underground, Volcov, Lakuti, Daniel Wang and many more. Its main soundtrack revolves around modern Deep House, interwoven with the more classic sounds of Disco and vintage US Garage. Needless to say, Mona’s authentic spirit attracts crews of dancers, Parisian party heads and music enthusiasts of all kinds.
For this very special edition, the party heads to Berlin for the first time, taking over the city’s most soulful club, Princes Charles. Nick V invites DJs Prosumer, Francis Inferno Orchestra and the duo Arcarsenal, and the night will open with a free Vogue Dance class by Marion Funkyguapa. The class, put to live music with Nick on the decks, gives you all the style and inspiration you need for a night on the dance floor. Mona embraces all dances with different teachers each time: Voguing, Waacking, House dance, Soul steps, or jazz dance... Mona will help you to express yourself! – whether you are an experienced dancer or a total beginner. Mona is about sharing the positive energy together!
