After recent guests Young Marco, Interstellar Funk and Times are Ruff, our love affair with The Netherlands continues with a special back-to-back set by two of Amsterdam’s most exciting diggers. While Diego Herrera, better known as Suzanne Kraft, originally hails from sunny LA but recently relocated to Holland’s capital, Orpheu The Wizard has been a stalwart of his local scene for years.

Kraft’s background as a trained musician is not only tangible in his quirky EPs for Running Back or Kitjen, but is most evident in the three albums he released in the past six years. Particularly the humid, laid-back ‚Talk from Home‘ on Melody is Truth is testament to his talent, soundtracking the summer of 2015 for many. Meanwhile, Orpheu de Jong is a selector first and foremost, showcasing his distinguished taste at institutions like Robert Johnson, Salon Des Amateurs, De School or Dekmantel. As co-founder of the beloved Red Light Radio – physically linked to Amsterdam’s finest record store – Orpheu digs deeper than most, while is elegance behind the turntables can effectively be termed wizardry.

It is their shared passion for the unexpected, deeply rooted instinct for the right record and tight skillset that make Diego and Orpheu the perfect pairing for a rare b2b set. The same can be said of De Ambassade: Nicolas and Tristan, the two Belgians in exile, may have been playing together for years, yet a desire to surprise each other and the audience alike sits at the heart of their every set. Rounding off our double feature, Lustgarten residents James and Chris will warm you up. Feel the heat and get those windmills turning!
