Form Follows Funktion is a principle associated with modernist architecture and industrial design in the 20th century. The principle is that the shape of a building or object should be primarily based upon its intended function or purpose. This series of events will feature international artists of two major movements: contemporary arts & advanced music.

XAVER HIRSCH
Xaver Hirsch, born in 1989, lives and works in Berlin, studied communication design at the design akademie Berlin. Parallel to his work in publisher and advertising industry he devotes to his artistic practice first of all to digital projection. It aims to audio-visual and interactive perception. The solely black/white exhibits are dominated by a minimalistic design vocabulary. The installations move through the connection of light and sound away from the flat to the space. They interact with the environment and the observer

VAKULA
His music sits perfectly with the current early House revival, along with his Afro-American influence. But in truth it’s much closer to Ukrainian land and its culture. Music which is simple and melodious as Taras Shevchenko poetry and fat as Ukrainian lard. So even when Vakula’s drum machine starts to beat in a Theo Parrish style, we still hear the story from far away America: when I was 13 I shepherded outside the village… And that is what Konotop House is.

PIONAL
Pional is probably Spain’s best-kept secret when it gets to electronic music production. This young multi-instrumentalist that compulsively colors his tracks with his own vocals, first burst into the scene with a 12” on the Barcelona-based Hivern Discs, the label from his friend, the infamous John Talabot, unveiling a slo-mo disco anthem “A Moot Point” that aroused great interest.
His last reference for the label, the unique house gem “We Have Been Waiting For You” proves, this producer is one of the talents to follow.

OUER
Ouer is a live act, which presents music, that combines the spirit of Detroit Techno and Chicago House with the love of band-inspired jam sessions. With the approach to keep the spirit of early techno and house music, without being stuck in specific genres or ways to make music, they create a fusion of analog and digital sounds to take the listener beyond deadlocked spheres.

SPANKS
Roman has a wide range of musical influences, therefore his preferred style is something between House, Deep House and Funk. His DJ sets regularly leave enthusiastic audience that appreciates his playful varietes of different grooves and styles.
