Tyree Cooper and Bobby Starrr welcome you to E-MAN-CI-PATE, presenting Roy Davis Jr and Mandel Turner.

Roy Davis Jr grew up in Chicago and was turned on to House music at an early age by the likes of Lil' Louis, DJ Pierre, Farley Jackmaster Funk & Marshall Jefferson. He began his own production company named Phuture in the late 1980’s and went on to become an A&R scout for record label Strictly Rhythm in NYC whilst also running his Chicago founded record label Undaground Therapy Muzik.

Born and Raised in Brooklyn, Mandel Turner’s roots can be traced to The First Church of God in Christ gospel choir where his rich baritone voice was first discovered and nurtured. Later on the influences of early 80's Club Culture and DJ's such as Larry Levan, Tee Scott, Tony Humphries, further expanded the range to which his “musical voice” could be put to use. And thus a DJ was born.

E-MAN-CI-PATE is a House night presented by Tyree Cooper and Bobby Starrr, whose personal quest is bringing you the best of the international House scene to Prince Charles. From classic old-school favorites to up-and-coming guest DJs, Tyree Cooper’s and Bobby Starrr’s undeniable charisma and their tangible enthusiasm for deep, Chicago inspired yet contemporary House music has garnered them support amongst a remarkably high caliber of crowd-pleasers. 2016 promises to be an exciting year for the combo as for the first time the events will happen at Berlin’s hottest house club PRINCE CHARLES, with the next E-MAN-CI-PATE schedules already solidly booked with fantastic DJs - it’s definitely all going supa-dupa.
