CHARLES & ALMA:
Berlin meets Tel Aviv. Two cities. One Party.

Berlin and Tel Aviv are celebrating a very special club night on Thursday, August 27 at the same time, in both cities. Clubs, makers and artists will look beyond the turntables and build a musical bridge.

This "marriage" of the two clubs becomes "Charles & Alma”: For the first time, Berlin DJs and music producer duo Beathoavenz will go to Israel and perform at KULI ALMA in Tel Aviv. The Tel Aviv DJs Yarin Lidor and Nadav Neeman will come to Berlin and spin music at Kreuzberg’s "Prince Charles”. They will join forces with Grzly Adams (Prince Charles / Urbanology) and DJ DRush (Prince Charles / Urbanology), and a secret special guest. Admission to both clubs is free, in Berlin only until 11pm.

Both clubs will will open the doors to their guests before the actual party. At 7.30 pm "Prince Charles" will kick off with a BBQ and cold drinks in their back yard. Come and meet the guests from Tel Aviv and their host from "Prince Charles" and listen to them talk about their ten most favorite records and some anecdotes from the music world and Israel.

For the party in Tel Aviv Cohenbeats will warm up and start the massive party there and open up for Zafer Kurus and Perry Perezovic better known as Beathoavenz.

For those who will not be able to attend in either city, DRadio Wissen and the Israeli radio station רדיו 88 Fm/ Kol Israel will collaboratively broadcast live from both cities in form of one radio show. 9 pm until midnight at http://www.dradiowissen.de and http://www.iba.org.il/88fm.

This night is the highlight of the program focus "50 Years of German-Israeli relations" at Deutschlandradio. During the show, of course, not only German, but also Hebrew and English will be spoken.

DEUTSCHER TEXT
