After a memorable J.A.W with Jeremy and the mighty Zaf Lovevinyl in 2016, we´re thrilled to welcome back the Paris-based DJ at J.A.W. For this one, we chose to have another trully passionate selector as well as respected producer & fresh Family member, Skymark. Both will share the dj booth all night long, going through all music genres. No boundaries.
Jeremy is an avid record collector and music lover who started his own label “My Love Is Underground” back in 2010. Enraptured with deep house since the late 90’s thanks to Paris’s Radio Nova, Jeremy spent his formative teenage years in record shops with a sole idea in mind — unearthing the hidden treasures of house music. He followed later with other genres such as jazz, soul, AOR or funk. Jeremy got regulary invited by Sam Shepherd aka Floating Points to celebrate "Soul around the world" at his infamous party "You´re A Melody" together with Red Greg a.o.
Skymark is a producer, vinyl collector, DJ and keys player who´s been collecting the finest private press as well as classic records of Soul, Gospel, Disco, Jazz and Brazilian music since 1995 with true love and devotion. He´s been running his own label Modern Sun Records since 2009, and it has become a bastion of soulful music. Beside the releases on his own label, Skymark has also put out House Eps and Jazz tracks on labels like Sonar Kollektiv, Neroli, N s y d e and Rush Hour. The swiss-born DJ has also produced a wide array of music for artists such as Ghostface Killah (from the legendary Wu-tang Clan) on Def Jam Records, while he has also made beatdown tracks with Lady Blacktronika or Steve Spacek.
