The StarFire Warden had been caught in the midst of a fierce battle struggling to fend off a set of cosmic invaders. But as the battle reached its climax, a catastrophic ultranova engulfed both the StarFire Warden and its adversaries, hurtling them into the unknown reaches of the universe.
