Mehr und mehr hat man das Gefühl, dass die Realität uns einholt. Neue Häuser schießen aus dem Boden wie Waldpilze nach dem Regen, und unsere Clubkultur ist ständig bedroht.
Es fühlt sich mehr und mehr wie ein Rückzugsgefecht an, das wir einfach nicht gewinnen können. Im Kampf zwischen Kultur und Kapital gewinnt letzteres durch K.o. und überlässt Ersteres der Suche nach neuen Horizonten, weit weg von den inneren Organen unserer Stadt.
In dieser Realität haben wir gelernt, die Dinge Tag für Tag zu nehmen und jede Veranstaltung am Spreeufer zu genießen, als wäre es die Letzte.
Und so laden wir euch ein, genau diese Einstellung mit uns zu teilen, in die Magie von Kultur und Musik einzutauchen und euch an einem sonnigen Tag am Flussufer zu verlieren.
Mit euch meinen wir alle:
Auf unserem 1. Mai Fest gibt es Essens- und Kunstmärkte, Kinderaktivitäten, Zirkusperformances und natürlich ein hochkarätiges Lineup mit einigen der besten DJs der Stadt.
More and more, it feels that reality closes in on us. New buildings pop like forest mushrooms after the rain, and our club-culture is constantly under threat.
More and more, it feels like a rearguard battle we simply can’t win. In the fight between culture and capital, the latter wins by a knockout, leaving the first to search for new horizons, far from our city’s inner organs.
In this reality, we learned to take things day by day, and to enjoy every event on the Spree banks as if it is the last.
And so, we invite you to share this feeling with us, to dive into the magic of culture and music, and to lose yourselves in a sunny day on the river bank.
With you, we mean everyone:
Our 1st of May festival will include food and art markets, children activities, circus performances and of course: a top-notch lineup of some of the city’s greatest DJs.
