ENGLISH VERSION

While hatred, arson & murder attempts against refugees are raging again in Germany official help is failing blatantly. Empathy statements without consequences & malicious media fuelling diffuse fears & prejudiced mentalities don't help.

You may feel like we do when facing the current conditions & everyday news – disgusted, shocked, angry & sometimes desperate or even paralysed. One thing is clear: without moral courage & humanitarian aid organised by civil society nothing will change sufficiently. We can, want, & must give hope & fundamental help, organised & distributed by us.

Let's not fool ourselves: it's sheer luck that we do not have to flee or depend on other people’s help. We should not only take care that those concerned survive their escapes (many thanks, Sea-Watch!) but also provide them with the infrastructure to find essential information & to allow them to stay in touch with their families & friends.
The second SolidariSea will again give all revenues to initiatives committed to helping refugees directly, this time with a local focus.
We want you to make an effort, become active and interfere. Come around, contribute towards our cause, bring your friends and family – so much is at stake! Show solidarity, dance with us and put your money where your mouth is...
