We have an unexpected but exciting update
As of Tuesday 16 December 2025 we have reached an agreement to extend the lease at our current location, securing a long-term future for the venue. Getting this news at a time where we were in the final stages of ending operations is the best news we could ask for.
However, since clarity on our future came so short notice, we need to take some time to reset, regroup and carefully plan our next steps. For this reason, we will remain temporarily closed following our New Year’s Eve celebrations.
Our New Year’s Eve celebrations will continue as planned, but it’s no longer goodbye – it’s a celebration of an exciting future!
New Year’s Eve has always been a special event at Renate, serving as the perfect playground for celebration, liberation and self expression. This year will be no exception as we have put together a stellar array of musical, artistic & cultural performances.
